Give me a nice trip to Brighton over one in Sheffield any day so I''m a Wednesday fan for the next week or so.
Are you on the sauce again Smithy as i am trying to make sense of that ? [*-)]
Not had a drop all day. Honest officer. If Brighton fail to get promotion we''ll be looking forward to a nice trip to the AMEX next year. Great day out there last season ( but must confess a drop or two of sauce did pass my lips on that occasion. [;)] )
Brighton are currently 2-0 down [Y]
 2.
We won''t see him again in yellow and green but we will certainly see more than 10 million quid.
Here''s hoping all of the proceeds go into defence [Y]
 3.
I have heard a snippet that Bassong is definitely out the door, and that Klose fancies staying....
Music to thine ears, mortyski [Y]
 4.

When Bor was pontificating the other day about Ed and his economic qualifications i suggest someone look up the fellow company he has at the Harvard Kennedy University or whatever it is called. It is riddled with 3rd world countries Kings and Presidents, South American officials from drug riddled countries and heads of state from numerous banana republics. If anybody can point out anyone of note i will be amazed with any economic clout i will be amazed. Please take note Broadstairs as all that glistens is not necessarily gold.
Are any of them ''fantastically corrupt''?
Are any of them giant lizards?and what about that scotch mate of his who saved the world? Saving NCFC should be a doddle.[:D]
[:D][Y]
 5.
3rd row from the bottom, 2nd from the right?I see the resemblance. But then 3rd row from the top, 4th from the left could be Fabio Capello.
Immediately to the left of Capello -- I thought Cilla Black was dead? [;)]
 6. We''re down. No way are Everton going to come back [:(]
 7. Everton looking a tad half-a*sed at Sunderland though [:@]
 8.
Wes & Naismith linked well vs Liverpool, not sure they''ve started together since. At least it looks like we''re going to take it to Watford.
Be great if Naismith can put in a similar performance as against Liverpool [Y]
 9.
Cheers fellas, not everything I post is nonsense[;)]
You did well son [:)]
 10.
[:|]
Good evening, morty. On my way to work this morning I saw what looked like a dead, baby ghost -- as I got closer I realised it was a handkerchief.
 11.

McNally had reached his limit. I think he''s just lost it and I don''t mean that in a cruel way. He apparently was walking around Tombland in circles on Saturday night so make of that what you will.
I blame the one way system.Still, could have been worse, he might have been at the Grapes Hill roundabout.
[:D][Y]
 12.
Our ex director of marketing now at MK Dons is a name that springs to mind to replace McNally.
That bloke to the right of our former chief executive will be chief executive before the start of next season:If I''m wrong, blame Shyster.
 13.
It''s just occurred to me - if he did such a great job getting us out of the sh*t, it would be more ironic than Alanis Morisette if he was leaving to join Villa. He wouldn''t would he?
More likely Rangers than anyone else.
 14.
A great report as always Ricardo, can''t help but look back at games like Liverpool at home and think we could have been home and dry by now but sadly the story of the game was the same as our entire season. Plucky, plenty of effort but short on quality where it matters. I think we''re going to struggle next year if we do go down, we got lucky getting back up at the first time of asking before. To do it twice in 3 seasons would be quite an achievement.
You''re starting to depress me now, AJ [:(]
 15.
As much as I want to have hope I just do not believe we have anything in us to win another game this season, let alone 2!
Listen, AJ, we all know the fat lady''s been gargling that much Listerine since Saturday she''s decided to get it cheaper at Wilkos, but she also went to Gooses in Pottergate for fresh song sheets only to discover the f*cker is no longer there, so whatever you do do not give up the hope [Y]
 16.
Grabban was a good signing. He was useful in getting us promoted and we sold him for a nice chunk of money.
Yeah, but what are the odds on Bournemouth doing a Leicester next season with Grabban scoring 19 goals?I may as well put a quid on just in case [:)]
 17.
Redmond should be first on the teamsheet with Brady not far behind. Neither will be here next season so the debate is largely irrelevant.
Okay, if this debate is irrelevant, let''s discuss how you know those couple of players won''t be here next season [:|]
 18.

It would be interesting to know, for the sake of balance, how many players other clubs get wrong.
I''m not sure it would be that interesting to be honest, morty.Saying that, I know somebody who spent seven years studying for a PhD in large animal diseases.
You''re probably right[:D]Its more the point that, I should imagine, every single club has a similar list of players who have never quite made it.The difference with us though is that if we screw it up (and the chances are higher for us because we always have to try and get value for money) we don''t have the means to sort it out. Paying less for players than other clubs do, always makes it more of a gamble on our part. Its rare, at this level, that we actually buy a player who is the finished article. Klose is probably the closest that springs to mind.
I can''t get into complex discourse right now, morty, I''ve been on the pi*s since Thursday afternoon, but I can at least contribute the fact that the big spenders purchased players that finished behind Leicester.
 19.
I think we''ll keep Brady. I''d also keep Remond unless we get a decent bid (over £7m). There''s no point in selling him for less because he''ll be key in getting us back up. It''s worth the risk of losing out on a few million. If we do go down I can''t see Klose staying and perhaps Naismith as well. Having just signed though I expect we''d get around £4m for Naismith and £7-8m for Klose which would set our season up nicely as we could also get rid of the dead wood here such as VOO and Mulubu as well as Whitts going on a free. The Murphy boys and Maddison I''m sure will be involved at some point but should be in and around the reserves as we shouldn''t be relying on them to get us up, especially when we have such a good championship team. The only position we need reinforcements in is the striking department. Hopefully we can get a proven championship striker in such as McCormack. Jobs a good''un
OH! Another ''Assumptions ''R Us'' post. You definitely have a tendency to talk tripe, miggins, but I for one am glad you''ve decided to stay with us [Y] There''s something very endearing about your persona [:)]
