I've watched the games, the clue is in the abysmal defending from last season right through this season, not improving at all as the weeks go past.

We all have seen managers go into struggling sides and they immediately stop conceding goals. It's not rocket science. Let's face it, if the squad spent an hour a day being coached to defend set pieces we would see a difference come the following weekend. It's obvious that Farke doesn't spend enough time coaching defending set pieces.

Does anyone see evidence of defensive drills being done in training? That is the coaches fault.

Unfortunately City fans are the same as many other football fans, we don't always listen carefully to what is said. In January for instance Farke was making quite a point of praising up Rupp and Duda while, possibly unintentionally, saying our existing players aren't good enough. Sadly he often does this, I don't know whether that's because of second language issues or just poorly chosen words, but he does say strange things at times.

Unfortunately, when Farke brought in lian loan players, he said our players aren't good enough and these new loans are so much better. I can't imagine that our players were too impressed when they arrived, I wasn't. Bear in mind that it's not just wages, a hefty loan fee is paid and at the end of the loan period, you don't have any assets to show for it.

One of the biggest problems this season has been conceding goals at such an alarming rate, which coincidentally was one of our biggest problems last season. Farke didn't learn from that and up to this point in the season, there's no clear evidence to suggest that any time has been spent on the training ground coaching the defence to work as a unit stopping the flow of goals against. Webber too, must have been partially responsible for the tranche of players bought and loaned in last couple of seasons, who didn't get to play more than cameo roles yet must have cost us thousands. This as you mentioned has been repeated this season, even as recently as January, with Rupp and Duda. Will they learn those lessons? I personally see no evidence of any acknowledgement of their failings, rather, Farke has reverted back again to 'our players aren't good enough' type comments. I suspect from the way the players have been past few months, they have come to realise that the coaching and tactics aren't good enough.

A smarter Farke who organises his defence? Oh you didn't mean that kind of smart....

Am I in the right place for an argument?

We were consistent alright, consistently at the bottom of the League all season. If you want to decry people not looking at the longer period, then consider all the goals we shipped last season as a practice session for this season.

Throwing goals in our net and not scoring any, yeah why not?

19 other teams saying that we're the best team to play against for a gift of 6 points this season more like. Of course they're going to like our style, conceding readily and scoring infrequently, who wouldn't want to play against us? Get real

Laws of average would suggest that the run of defeats will end soon. Common sense says we're doomed, but realistically we were doomed when Farke didn't improve the defence last season and continued not learning lessons into the Premier League. Unfortunately as much as we would all like City to emulate Brazil, our defence is nowhere near Brazil's.

Be more interesting if he was to address the defensive problems that he has ignored up to now.

The bulk of the players who don't feature in the matchday squad are making money for the club through loan fees etc. Many of these will never play for us but are being farmed, Chelsea style. Whether we like it or not, they are there to make £ and maybe just the odd one occasionally will get in the team.

You've got your paper upside down chap, we're still hanging off the bottom and we will still be mid table in the Chumpionship next season. We ain't favourites against any team because our team only puts in effort half dozen times per year.
