  1. Had to put a small one on our lads at 20-1
  2. Looking forward to this, always interested in the second best team in East Anglia
  3. But the spider, must be an omen! Come on you Hatters
  4. Sounds like a footy crowd there now😀
  5. Idah has to develop as a player and he ain’t going to get a chance to do that under pressure in the Prem. Rhodes is an integral part of what we achieved as a club last season and it would be good to see him back.
  6. I felt the same, if you do make a mistake you expect a player to bust a gut to try and make ammends. He didnt appear to do that, but there may be good reason why.
  7. indeed, that was the point I was trying to make, players need to keep their concentration levels up.
  8. Yep, but also mistakes resulted in goals, last season we could have got away with a few of those.
  9. We will learn a lot more from this than from the Luton game.
  10. Todd has clearly been working on his strength, only going to improve as he gets older
  11. Didn’t get to the game in the end, forgot it was 7.00 KO☹️ Bit concerned that on utube my new seat looks to be orange, not the canary yellow I was expecting! Big season for young Todd, much better in a midfield position.
  12. Looking forward to getting back to CR and watching the lads👍
  13. I shall be wearing mine as a cravat.
  14. I met someone who was Pans the other day. She didn’t stick around!
  15. 14th, just where we are now as it happens😀
  16. Thanks for posting this, interesting stuff. As for the defensive midfielder.....it has indeed not gone unnoticed.😀
  17. Good to see a happy ending. Those big lumps of granite are pretty good at protecting the coastline but are a dangerous temptation for kiddies. It always worries me when I walk along the coast there to see little caves appear in the ever eroding cliff face and parents allowing children to investigate!
  18. Yes Would be disappointed if we are not looking. Its more than just tactical nous in that position, it’s the self discipline to keep in position and accepting that you are not going to be doing much of the eye catching stuff, often being the unsung hero. I suspect McLeans ego might be too strong for the position, and that’s not a criticism, but it does take a particular type of character to play there.
