Shame to see him go after all those goals he scored for us.

They did well to find a photo of him in a Norwich shirt.........

It does make you wonder though, how many of our ex-players are going come back and bite us on the bum next season.  Holt, C.Martin, Kamara, Lansbury, Wilbraham if he goes to a championship club,  there are quite a lot of them around in the championship from our recent history..........
Good, at least this will stop the "I feel sorry for Becchio" comments............
True at least until he scores for them and then the why the hell did we let him go threads will start!

Becchio''s arrival always seemed little more than a by-product of Morison''s departure. To this day we have very little idea whether Lucy would be any good in our  first team - quite bizarre!

The only way he will ever leave is if we pay up his contract as no one will give him the wages we pay

Why do you think he sat on the bench or in the stand for 18mths without complaining

MONEY

MONEY
Oh it was Becchio''s choice to sit on the bench each week. Silly me thought it was Hughton picking him for the squad (so he must have been good enough each week) but then never wanting to play him.And all this time I thought it was the players between themselves who chose to sit on the bench! We got a good deal with the Morrison, but sheer stupidity by the manager to never play a 20 goal striker  (at the half way point of a season) when none of your other strikers, or players, could score either!

Hinges on Adams'' attitude towards him and whether he keeps the last choice whatever the circumstances approach. But if Becchio does go this transfer window, it will be us who will have wasted his time and a year and a half of his career that he would rather have been playing. Maybe he wouldn''t have cut it, but with the return he had in the Championship he was entitled to a proper crack of the whip.

Becchio should fit reasonably with the attacking football Adams is setting out, at least some of the time. His lack of pace could be a problem for a 4-3-3, but if City play 4-4-2 at home there should be chances. It''s beginning to look thin if we lose both Becchio and Hooper (who didn''t travel back with the team yesterday).

That goal he scored for Leeds when we drew at Elland Road in our promotion season was top drawer.  So I for one would be very disappointed if he''s back with them and would fully expect him to score against us.  But if he''s not willing to give it a go under the new manager, or NA is determined to let him go, then we''ll just have to live with it I guess.
