lharman7 39 Posted May 29, 2014 Hull and Burnley reported to be interested.Could he be enticed to Carrow Road?I wouldn''t mind him. Thoughts?
Bethnal Yellow and Green 1,558 Posted May 29, 2014 He wouldn''t drop a division. His wages will be pretty high and I''m not sure how much he really has to offer anymore. He seemed to give up on football a while ago, which is a shame as he had potential to be a very good player.
Jacks Back 0 Posted May 29, 2014 I''d would take a huge amount of hunger for a player to have his wages at least halved and play in a lower division to improve his career. He definitely doesn''t strike me as that kind of player
It's Character Forming 1,161 Posted May 29, 2014 He''s always struck me as the rich man''s Steve Morison.
Yellow Green Army 237 Posted May 29, 2014 Aruna Kone and Marvin Emnes would be much better bets than Bendtner. More realistic also.
BroadstairsR 2,168 Posted May 29, 2014 He might have been useful for us last season and even value for his money compared with the Elmander-Jones spend-fest. The kind of player to pull a rabbit out of the hat, unlike the other two retirees. Too much of a risk this year. Every penny needs to be spent to good effect, no risk-taking and no expensive prima donnas for us, just heads down and graft and craft.
GrantsMoustache 0 Posted May 29, 2014 Love to see it happen but our club doesn''t have the ambition to even attempt it.
It's Character Forming 1,161 Posted May 29, 2014 It''s all about opinions - personally my heart would sink, he''s exactly the sort of player who''d think he was too good for the Championship and would put in no effort.
Move Klose 303 Posted May 29, 2014 Emnes is hardly prolific at MBoro. Beed to be looking at people like Danny Graham, Troy Deeney etc.
skeps 0 Posted May 29, 2014 no chance of getting kone, we will be going after young and hungry players like callum wilson or stevie may not someone on about 50k a week, we can''t afford these sort of players.
Crafty Canary 495 Posted May 29, 2014 As he thinks he is a world class striker you can just see him itching to sign for us.
Katie Borkins 1 Posted May 29, 2014 Massive ego, massive bell-end, massive no from me.
Viva Marc Libbra 0 Posted May 29, 2014 People that think Marvin Emnes is good have obviously never actually seen him play.
wcorkcanary 4,334 Posted May 29, 2014 Broadstairs..... ''just heads down and graft and craft.''......surely you mean heads up, cant see heads down footy being a success.
wcorkcanary 4,334 Posted May 29, 2014 Bendtner............Nah fanx. Really rates himself, though.
djc 0 Posted May 29, 2014 No thanks. At likely £80k per week wages, off field issues at sunderland when there on loan, premier league player with lack of ambition. Too much cash per week has overpowered the desire to succeed that a once youthful player had.
Jonzey 0 Posted May 30, 2014 Ah the yearly Bendter thread. It''s all irrelevant as he has clearly stated he would only leave Arsenal for Real Madrid or Barcelona. Bless him.
GJP 79 Posted May 30, 2014 Undoubtedly weighed down by his pockets. Could have gone on to do more than what he has done.
