I am beginning to lose hope

Recommended Posts

That we are going to get shot of hapless before the end of the season. Now matter how dreadfully he has performed this season he seems to be getting away with it.

What a depressing thought that we have to watch this dross for the remaining games of the season.

In the words of the Tina Turner I am holding out for a hero.

It just isn''t hapless

I''ve long since lost my marbles too, Lapp, but I am working diligently on the plot.  [:D]
Yes I was but never had I had such a period of success, attacking football, last minute goals etc as under the Messiah
You''ve not supported the club long enough then. There have been even better times than the Lambert years in the not too distant past.I hear Villa still have plenty of empty seats available for every game.
Its irrelevant how long youve been NCFC, being served up boring & negative football is plain to see.
Boredom is little more than a state of mind dependent on how your brain reacts to external stimulus. One can only assume that Hughton personally finds our football suitably entertaining.

TEC - I would have thought that the words on Roy Buchanan''s best known track would be what you cling to:

" I''ve walked in a lot of places I never should have been, but I know that The Messiah he will come again."

Thorpe End is in a bit of a quandary now as far as his specialist mastermind subject is concerned. Thinking about replacing "Music Recording Artists" with "Football Managers." Problem is, he knows sweet FA about either of them.

He''s thinking of ''We don''t need another hero'' but the more appropriate Tina Turner song would be ''Backstabbers''.

The dye is set we will keep him until the end of the season unless there is a catastrophic run of results but by that time it would be too late. Every point will be eagerly counted between now and the end of the season, what worries me is we are just about due a home defeat, we are also due some unexpected point/s
