Match Thread - Cardiff City vs Norwich

Recommended Posts

Have to give it for the team even thought we lost. Good game outside of odd 30 minutes from which 25 was decent too.

Really heart broken for this loss. We were better team and we should have used those chances and their equalizer should never come which led for 2 minute panic.

Damn..
RVW is rubbish, how the hell has he scored so many goals for other clubs. He doesn''t even look like a footballer, nevermind a pl one. Hate to say it but he''s not up to it :/
Are you that f*cking dim that your logic is he''s a sh*t footballer that''s just been lucky for his other clubs and his trues colours are showing at us? Beggar''s belief.

Bottom of the league Cardiff play well for 60 f***ing seconds of the game and we conspire to lose it. Beyond pathetic. This is embarrassing now, just get that useless **** out of the club and get someone with an ounce of tactical nous in.

A bloody disaster - Man city up next and then big bottom 4 rivals away in w ham.

Sorry but enough is enough one win from 11.

The board have to act now and please please do not say that changing the manager won''t change it!

Cardiff and Sunderland have!

Worst result of the season for me. Cardiff are down and were poor today, yet today''s performance suggests we will be joining them in the championship next year.
Cant fault the effort in the last 20 minutes. Woodwork hit twice I think and 2 goals disallowed. Sometimes it just doesnt go your way
I agree with this, but you have to say there was nothing fortunate about the goals we conceded!

Oh dear.  Deeply concerned for the very real danger of relegation we now face.  Can''t see the Board doing anything about the manager now (should have done it some time ago) so we will need to grind out some hard earned points in the future, if we are to stay in this league.  I hope we can do it but the signs of our demise are there for all to see.

Plenty of chances created there, and still our forwards can''t score.

At least Elmander puts himself about. As soon as RVW comes on it''s like playing with 10 men.

For the statistically-minded, with last season''s numbers in brackets:Points per game 1.0 (1.157).Goals per game 0.79 (1.078).Goals conceded per game: 1.54 (1.526).If continued we would finish on 38 points (44) with a -28 goal difference (-17).

You dont dominate the game with 10 against 11. RvW didnt do much wrong in those minutes he was on the field and gave few decent game improving passes.

Stop single outing players.

Really?

He had one decent chance which he completely miscued.

Shortly after that he was embarrassingly lightweight in a 50/50 and basically got wafted off the ball.

And i can''t remember him doing anything else at all.

Jones was on the end of every corner - our forwards were not even challenging him.

Yeah and when we would sign Jones and he would score 0 for us in 20 games, not because of his mistakes, but the delivery, would he become useless player on the field?

The volley he had was very dificult and came quickly. It comes to pure luck to convert one of those.
Stream commentator says Cardiff have only one once this season after going behind, against Man City though, and Kenwynne Jones hasn''t scored since Dec 2012.Is this good or bad news ?
Someone talked that up then.......
