city4eva 224 Posted March 2, 2013
Maybe 1 upfront and a 1-0 loss might have been the better option after all.
wouldnt have made any difference, the changes should have been made at half time not on 70 mnutes

Carra Rud 17 Posted March 2, 2013 I fear the usual excuses will be made... well, it is Man Utd after all... Pretty much handed the game to them from the off. Terrible passing, played too deep for too long. Never got into any sort of rhythm and then just capitualted at the end.Shame... because a bit of attacking flair could have resulted in getting something from this one.And then at 4-0 down and 90 minutes on the clock Hughton takes off Holt...WTF???! Haggerdoo 6 Posted March 2, 2013 Johnson - utter 5hit today - overated - at fault for Rooney goal - tackled like a girl
Lavanche 0 Posted March 2, 2013 Oh and we werent so bad in first half either. That a bit lucky goal just ruined our game plan.
yoda 0 Posted March 2, 2013 Showed an average Man u far too much respect , sloppy passing no attacking intentions and got what we deserved . We won''t be staying up on goal difference that''s for sure.

technika 0 Posted March 2, 2013 anyone who was expecting points from man utd away were living in dreamland tbh.hasnt been a really bad performance, were arguably still in it up to 75 minutes (only just mind), but the passing was terrible, defended far too deep (surprise surprise) and there was no reason not to change it at half time and give it a goscoreline kind of flatters utd as city just rolled over after the 2nd went in
Gordon Bennett 794 Posted March 2, 2013 ''Going for it'' could have led to us being picked off five or six nil. The bottom line is that unless you catch United or City on an off day then the gulf in class between them and a bottom half club like us is enormous, whatever formation or tactics are employed. The next three games are far more important. Pyro Pete 1,941 Posted March 2, 2013 4-0, full time. This is why sitting back and defending for so long is such a bad idea. The central midfield have nothing left to give and we have no replacements for Johnson and Howson. They were run ragged all game in central midfield.
Hank shoots Skyler 2,094 Posted March 2, 2013 no because we''ll probably be about 8 points clear
Nexus_Canary 1,046 Posted March 2, 2013 Yoda, Id agree that we went out far to defensively but I rarely think Man Utd and Average go in the same sentence.Kagawa and Rooney have been unstopable today.
