CJ 1 Posted January 20, 2013 Am I the only supporter who is getting fed up with our manager after every match almost apologising for playing in the Premier League against such talented sides as Liverpool , Man Utd etc. I can not believe it is good practice to keep pointing out how talented the opposition are compared to our humble players who are trying their best but by implication are no match for the opposition.I use to smile at Lamberts continual use of terrific , fantastic etc but Hughton needs to start impressing on his team they are a match for anyone in this league because if we continue to "respect" the opposition with their so called superior skills as we did at Liverpool we will not be in this league much longer! Morisons Prozac 0 Posted January 20, 2013 That''s funny I don''t remember you making a thread like this when we were winning but Hughton''s been like this all season so what''s changed? Get over pernickity things you t*t

Yobocop 1,444 Posted January 20, 2013 No indeed when we went on our unbeaten run, hughton was being praised for how he talked in post match press conferences Now, as in usual Norwich fan fashion it has swung the other way We have some proper fickle country bumpkin f**kers as fans
RvWs 4 year contract 0 Posted January 20, 2013 You bunch of bellends..GET. BEHIND. YOUR. TEAM.Hughton is as doing as good as can be expected bearing in mind we have a tiny budget...

Just listen to interviews with different media outlets and note how very similar they all are, even despite differences in questions. It''s the politician''s way. What''s said in press conferences and what''s said to players and staff behind the scenes are unrelated.

"They used to be a big club that won everything, then they were a pretty big club that won most things, and now they are a watered-down version of Manchester United and won''t win anything this season. The really sad thing is that they used to be big on sportsmanship and fair play, and now they have Luis Suarez playing for them and their manager defending the indefensible. If I had Suarez in my team, I''d fine him two weeks wages every week - he''s all that is wrong with the modern game, although he is undoubtedly a fine player when he isn''t diving, swearing, handballing it or being racist."When asked how his team will do today, Hughton is ice-cool. "We''re going to win," he says. "Three, maybe four-nil. You have to remember that the Liverpool team are a bunch of overpaid primadonnas who don''t like it up ''em, and we are rough, tough and down in the hood." Bert sneakers 0 Posted January 20, 2013 Totally agree with this post.Supporters support, I''ve seen seasons where teams have gone down without any fight and there fans are still getting behind there team and singing there heart out.All you negative turncoats are doing is making yourself miserable. If you don''t want to be there don''t go. There is plenty on the waiting list who will take your place then you will need to find somewhere else to eat your sandwiches and drink from your flask on a Saturday. The team needs to walk onto that pitch against spurs and hear the fans get behind them to lift the pressure. They need a lift and being negative spreads from the terrace to the pitch. Rudolph Hucker 0 Posted January 20, 2013 I feel entitled to complain as I am a supporter, and this is a good forum to do it.When I go to games I get right behind the players and try to build an atmosphere and shouting and singing in the Cathedral area is right up there with loud library belching or lift farting.I do NOT lame our players for the current situation, I blame Hughton and McNally for poor pre season preparation, over and under playing of individuals, playing one size fits all for games when on occasion we need to be more expansive.I do not like Hughton''s pre match comments which go way beyond keeping players grounded either.I bet a lot of the passive mob on here go to games and make not a squeak, which does nothing for the team. Gordon Bennett 914 Posted January 20, 2013 I don''t expect what CH has to say to the media to be the same as his post match briefing of his players. I expect all criticism is kept in-house.
Ginja 43 Posted January 21, 2013 Jeez, god forbid anyone have an opinion other than "I love Holt", "Hughton is a hero" and "Let''s get behind the team!"The fact is we''ve gone from bad to good to worse and it''s about time Hughton quit the lame duck attitude with such a dire run of performance continuing. Change is needed and if we don''t do something this window it will down to luck whether we survive.I suppose we do have to remember that Hughton has only been with us a short while and his experience in the Premier League is limited, but he needs to learn fast if we are to save this sinking ship...
