Rumours........

Recommended Posts

Just passing on what I have read and received in the last 72 hours.

I read a story a couple of days ago saying that Norwich have made 5 bids and that these will all likely happen over the next 7 days. Thought it was just typical rumour site crap.

Then a mate of mine(who I have mentioned before on this forum) who works for the EDP sent me an email over the weekend and said that NCFC have bid for 5 different players as Hoots is fed-up with inconsistency of some of the squad. He didn''t mention any potential names of incomings.

Then I have noticed this morning that four rumour sites reporting that the Norwich bid for Graham has been accepted but have seen nothing on major news sites. Then I came across the floowing about 10 minutes ago - "20 Jan 2013 18:24:19
This is from a very very reliable source who told us about tettey before anything. Norwich have tabled 6 bids. Two of what we know are Danny graham, Gary hooper (8m) hooper will cost 8m that''s the asking price. So the other 3 are belived to be 2 players from abroad not 100% who but one is allowed to leave on a free and ch has watched him even at his days at Newcastle. And last bid is hard to guess but Birmingham have been offered 5m for someone know the only players we can think of is Redmond or butland and Curtis was mentioned but his price tag is 3m as Norwich fans know most transfers are kept secret but the source has said that 2 have been accepted today".

Sounds interesting and one of the rumours has his source as TV transfer feed. Not sure what that is maybe like SSN.

Anyway, let''s see what happens.

Oh wait, nah... this is reality. I will not hold my breath for fear of suffocating well into the summer.

My favourite Fleetwood Mac album by some distance, and I suspect others would feel the same way."Go Your Own Way", "Don''t Stop", "Dreams" and "Songbird" are all classic cuts.

I liked their first greatest hits album with the classic The Green Manilishi which was written in the snug of a Rackheath pub[B]

Bert, the only source is my mate at the EDP who really just confirmed that we have placed multiple bids which has just sort of backed up what I have read over the past 3 days.

There has always been a suggestion at different times that money is available but we were just obviously very careful on where and who we spend it on.

Maybe it''s a sign that Hoots has had enough of the ineffectiveness of some of our squad, particulary the forward line.

I know there''s nothing to say
We''re currently in thirteenth place

When times get bad,
when times get rough
Let''s give up and post on the Pink Un
That we''re not good enough

All our backup strikers are lame;
Yet people want four-four-two just the same -

But with two up front
We''re open wide
There''s no anchor man in the midfield
To help protect the side...

We should sign Andy Hughes,
He''s our second hand Hughes - yeah -
We should sign Andy Hughes,
He''s our second hand Hughes

(guitar solo)

So Oz if your mate works for the EDP why send you this e-mail for you to print the contents on here instead of making a top sports story out of it for the morning paper ?

Just saying.

TIL, not sure what you mean.

If you mean why did my mate email me the information? I''m not sure, maybe it''s just a mate keeping another mate up too date all the way in Australia.

The quote on the OP is not from my mate but the rumour site.

Not sure if I am understanding correctly your reponse but I am sure you will let me know.

TIL, I am not sure, I am in Sydney he is in Norwich. He is not a journalist but in production.

Maybe he is winding me up but seemed to fit with everything that I had been reading like I have said.

Let me email him back and ask him why the sports department at the EDP aren''t running that story.

Is there anything else you would like to know??
Never been the same since Peter Green left.
Went all MOR after that. Green on form was one of the most spine tingling experiences known to man and knocks Clapton into a cocked hat. Anyone doubting that only has to listen to the guitar work on Fool no More.

More rumours, one for Banana. Celtic are lining up Austin as a replacement for Hooper. Should we just go for Austin?

''Rumours'' is one of the all time greatest albums, the trouble is they always had a problem with the follow up. Tusk was bitterly disappointing.

Then we had ''Tango in the night'', which was a reasonably good album followed by the very average ''Behind the Mask''
