Would be amazing I agree, very impressed with who we are being linked with, just hope we end up with one pf them and not a Glen Murray or CMS!

Militant - because some posters on here seem to base their opinions of players on how they are rated in FM 2012 and not on how they actually perform in real life.

Many people play FM and use it as a mantra of absolute truth. So if someone manages to buy drogba now on there no doubt someone somewhere will ask why we aren''t doing the same. However I play and will defend its use if taken with a pinch of salt - Everton actually have a contract with the creators to use it as part of their scouting network...

Sorry. Back to actual subject of the thread.

Jelle Vossen would be quite a catch as he is very well thought of and I do believe he has recently been capped by a Belgium team that will turn heads soon (provided it lives up to any of its hype and potential). Had disregarded him as a possible transfer because of the sheer volume of interest in him.

Not tall, not fast. But he is clever both with and without the ball and hard working to boot. His positioning, movement and vision are generally impressive in one so young.

15 goals in 24(ish) appearances this season. I think he has something like 7 assists as well- please, if someone can get the correct figure I would appreciate it as I''m really not sure.

So, he scores them and sets them up. It also ties in with rumours/reports of scouting in the Low Countries.

The question is, "Which twitter?" Is it someone who knows, or is it someon whom someone spoke to in a pub?

If it is genuine, it would seem a good signing.

This was in The Times a couple of days ago. Presumably that is the basis for the tweet.

Twitter is basically the alternative to transferrumours.com and all those garbage sites. You sometimes get something interesting, but on the whole ANYONE can make whatever they want up on their Twitter account and it''ll soon post around the world and snowball into a ''dead cert'' etc. I''m glad he''s being mentioned with us, but I would take it with a massive pinch of salt at the moment..

Absolutely, York. Until something is officially announced by the club, then take everything with a pinch of salt.
