Whoever is behind the account ''Bor bor bor'' needs to quit the joke now I think, presuming it isn''t purple, and if is purple it isn''t funny.

Not only has this constant bellowing of doom and gloom started to annoy myself but also some of the jokes as of late have become rather offensive.

Racism. Yes that''s right, our lovely old Bor has called the middle eastern people "Backwards primitives". A guy called George Bush called them that as well you know.

Insulting GP was a bit harsh as well. A very clear attack on an intelligent and sensible poster, telling him to "complete his GCSE''s". Once again, I believe this is out of the line.

I feel the jokes may be crossing the line Bor, calm down or get out. For the record, I never found the jokes funny in the first place. It''s attention seeking mate.

I tink whoever is behind it, is now trying to kid us that he is the same chap as the one who is behind the ''wiz'' troll ie the attacks on the club, the casual use of almost racist remarks and anything else that can cause controversey (attention)

 

The problem being is that whoever is behind the ''wiz troll'' is often so busy flitting from one site to another that it''s all too easy to catch him with his guard down, and the mask slips

 

Best thing is to ignore the ''3bor'' attempt - rather like Harry Enfield when he went solo after the Fast Show

Totally agree - needless to say he lives up to his name. He''s in a minority of doom and gloom posters, who can''t see the fact that there are 37 Premier League games still to play, and the transfer window hasn''t shut. Hughton is still installing his way of playing into the team, and it may take a while to work - look at Rodgers at Liverpool, even our beloved Lambert at Villa. Give him time. Plenty of time for it to change.

Giving an attention seeking a dedicated thread is just giving them what they want. Best way is just to ignore the trolls threads and posts, they normally get bored.

I agree with Alan. We really needs some mods on these forums. Maybe some members of the Archant team just do some moderating in their spare time?

Or perhaps trustworthy and popular posters such as GP and Morty who can be voted into being mods?

I stand entirely corrected, in fact to compound the error the fast show was supposedly conceived as an alternative vehicle for the talents of those who thought Mr Enfield rather hogged the limelight

Forum Moderator 2012 only £14.99 at all reputable gaming stores. Buy this and you can be responsible for moving posts, deleting posts, warning posters, banning posters and all manner of other features that should keep the power crazed plastic mods happy for ever and a day.

That doesn''t even begin to make sense. All really worthwhile forums have active moderation, because people aren''t responsible in what they choose to post. A lot of people in this world are bum holes, and like to ruin things for everyone else. You can''t say we don''t need a police force because people should be responsible for their own actions.

I frequent, and have had stints moderating, large forums where the rules are set up to dissuade low-content, abusive or offensive posts.

Bor would like to thank you for your kind concern, but would only note that:

 

a) Afghanistan is not in the Middle East

b) I do consider the Taliban to be backwards savages, and don''t consider that view to be racist.  And neither was it a joke.

c) If you banned people for insulting each other, there would only be Bly Bly Babes left and that would only be because nobody understands a word he says.  You would certainly need to ban City 1st, TIL1010, Lappinitup, The Butler, Mister Chops, Tangible Fixed Assets, but I presume it''s okay to throw insults if you are one of the "in crowd" who think everything is wonderful at Carrow Road right now, or if you have twenty thousand posts.

d) I remain deeply concerned about the state of, and fate of, our current team after Saturday''s display, though the signing of Bassong is encouraging.

 

I think what irritates you about Bor is that my opinions do not match yours.  In which case may I suggest you will find life a rather irritating experience.

 

I repeat that I will not be hounded out, chased out, set upon, beaten down, silenced or muzzled by the likes of you.
