At the start of this season, I did my usual predictions. And as per usual, I was totally wrong.I had Middlesbrough winning the league by a country mile with Cardiff in second. In the play offs were going to be Reading, Nottingham Forest, QPR and Watford. Relegated were Portsmouth, Scunthorpe and Coventry!And finally, best of all, had us in 10th! Very grateful to be very wrong on this count!Anyone else care to confess to being pants at predictions?

Did you have a go at the Canary Challenge TheGo?

 

I can''t even remember what I did but I know I had three goes and I put Norwich, Leeds and Forest in every entry for the top six.

 

Anyway, it''s a good competition run by Kathy Blake so watch out for it on the NCISA site next season.

Personally I wouldn''t have predicted Watford that high or Portsmouth and Coventry that low. I don''t remember my prediction at the beginning but I would''ve thought that:

QPR, Boro, Burnley, Cardiff, Bristol C were a good shout for auto promo

For playoffs I thought that Swansea, Reading, Forest, Leicester, Derby, Sheff U, Portsmouth, Hull would fight

Relegation would then be Millwall, Scunthorpe and Palace

I remember tipping Forest for the title and expecting us to finish around 10th- so not too great...But saying that, there is no-one who could''ve genuinely expected us to end up in the top three- possibly even top two...

I predicted Boro but in a seperate prediction where i had names out of the hat, i had us, swansea, cardiff and forest in the top 6 with us on top and Sheff utd and preston in the bottom 3!!!

Had Chelsea, Forest, Southampton and Gillingham to win the League''s and Real Madrid for Champions league. £2 would have paid out £3500. Would have been nice!! Oh well.

I did a Chesterfield/Brighton/Norwich/Man U accumulator. Not quite sure how any points deduction will affect this, especially if they have already paid out some people.

Pretty sure I said that I''d be happy if we consolidated our position in this league and finished twelfth.  I also thought Boro would do well with Boyd, Lita and, um, the other one.
