DOGGER 0 Posted April 13, 2011 http://www.wfcforums.com/showthread.php?t=37388&page=2 Some nasty comments here.
Norfolk Mustard 106 Posted April 13, 2011 Holt seems to have got under the skin of several Watford fans on that forum (no surprise); mind you I did like this comment from someone slightly less biased:If we had Grant Holt upfront, we would be in the play offs, pure and simple. People may moan that we was kicking and pulling all night, so be it, it is all part of the game and he plays to his strength (similar to what Henderson did for us). He is the type of player that we could do with up front to be honest.
shefcanary 3,081 Posted April 13, 2011 I actually think they were nastier about Danny graham - top scorer in the league and they still think he''s not up to it!! Boggle
G 0 Posted April 13, 2011 Holt is a player everyone else is going to hate but the team he plays for because of the way he bullies defenders. People calling him a fat useless lazy **** a being unbelievabley biast because thats exactly what he isn''t. ''He isn''t in the same league as DG'' ermm yeah he is and he''s scoring a lot of goals. Would love to add Danny Graham to the squad scoring goals season in season out in an average championship team.
Canariesworld 0 Posted April 13, 2011 People on there also saying malky is on borrowed time. They were favourites for relegation at the start of the season and they could still get in the play offs with 6 games to go. Crazy talk.OTBC
mrs miggins 0 Posted April 13, 2011 thought it was a bit harsh saying they were glad he got injured
canaryfan68 0 Posted April 13, 2011 You have to take all the criticism as a compliment really. Sounds like Holty is our Neil Warnock....but also the ones who post the dire comments need to get a life. Its a competitive game so you have to fight for the right to win... ;)
Wembley_Canary 0 Posted April 13, 2011 Holt is one of those players who is easy to hate if he''s against you and easy to love if he''s playing for you, at the end of the day he could walk into any side in this division so who gives a damn what biased opposition fans think of out leading goal scorer. Huckerby was exactly the same.

Captain Holt 582 Posted April 13, 2011 This is why Holt is so amazing. He gets under EVERY team''s skin and I''ve heard comments about how much of a knob he is from nearly every club''s fans. Brilliant.
Lambo 0 Posted April 13, 2011 That''s why I love Grant Holt. He''s very similar to Robbie Savage, you love him if he''s in your tent pissing out but when it''s the other way round you''ll hate him.
Tangible Fixed Assets anyone? 0 Posted April 14, 2011 I like it when the sensational Grant Holt winds up the opposition fans. Wouldn''t mind Graham playing alongside Holty next season.

Kissthebadge 0 Posted April 14, 2011 The man is a fantastic striker and leader. You can''t run that length of time if you''re fat.Sickening to see people pleased when a player is injured. So glad Holty''s ours!
Mr Angry 2,094 Posted April 14, 2011 Has one of them amended Holty''s entry on Wikipedia? This is what it currently says:Grant Holt (born 12 April 1981, in Carlisle, Cumbria) is a fat English footballer, currently playing for Norwich City. He plays as a striker.
