Nope, I think I called it about right lol.

But seriously, how many years are you and Tilly going to keep having the same argument?

Don''t worry Morty because when Lambert gets us to a play off final and wins by not bringing on Daryl Sutch and then keeps us in the Premiership by winning an away game or two and not waiting until November for even a home win Nutty might just shut up.[:P][;)]

"Well at least this time it''s not resulting in a former City star losing out on much needed income, so it''s relatively harmless."

Strange comment Beaus... Are you saying that comments made on here have resulted in a drop in book sales?

[/quote]

Not so strange Nutty. A former City player earns peanuts for books sold at one event, but makes several hundred percent more at another by cutting out the middleman. A group of people who like to present themselves as guardians of the interests of the club and all connected with it consistently hijack threads to rehash the same old boring arguments and as a result people are put off the event where the guy makes the most profit.

I''m sure that people can join the dots even if you can''t.

Agree with you Cluck. Almost got rid of them all...

But I think we continue to show on and off the pitch a different spirit to the spineless, sit-on-hands attitude we had in the past. 3-1 up to 3 all, in the past we would have given up and lost but this team and this manager are made of sterner stuff. And though only 1 win in 7, it''s also only 1 loss in 5 and even the ever-pessimist inside of me believes that Lambert has an answer.

Beaus, with respect mate, this post is the most pathetic thing I''ve seen since Grant Holt''s red card. As are the ridiculous comments about threads being hijacked etc.

This is a messageboard for people to have their opinion on matters that are relevant to Norwich City. These opinions are valid whether you agree with them or not. What goes on here has very little if any impact in the real world. This is where we get the chance to say what we would do if we were running / managing the club. It''s a place where we can voice our opinions on relevant topics in the past and present. The Drinkell thread was not hijacked by me or Tilly. There was plenty of discussion on there that you took part in (whilst it suited you). Opinions on this messageboard, whether they be mine, Tilly''s, Angel''s or yours will not effect book sales one little bit. And the only reason I have heard from real people in the real world for putting them off the event is that their attendance requires them to join NCISA.

Morty''s right, we are not arch-enemies on here. Tilly and I are good friends of many years standing who disagree about certain issues concerning our football club. But I''m not having a laugh when I post my opinion on here, I''m not on the wind up. Understand this Beaus, Angel, Tilly and all, I disagree with pressure groups trying to know best about football clubs. Pressure groups take harmless opinion from the MB into the real world where it can be harmful. I actively support NCISA when it''s in Supporters Club mode in every way I can. I''m selling your raflle tickets now for goodness sake! But I will never join a pressure group even though they have good intentions. The phrase "well meaning amateurs" has never been more apt. And I will post that opinion on any thread I feel is relevant whether that be threads about the past or present. What I don''t do is start new threads to voice that opinion don''t go thinking I''m on any sort of crusade.

If it''s so important to have a say in the running of a football club, and this MB doesn''t fulfil your needs, then buy a computer game.

Thanks for the lecture, irrelevant to my post as it was. As you seem confused by what I''ve said, given that you''ve spent several paragraphs defending yourself against things I haven''t accused you of, let me spell it out to you . I think ex City players from less well paid times should be given as much opportunity to improve their income as possible. Do you agree? Alternatively you may well feel that such people just have to lose out if it means you getting the chip off your shoulder, because that would be a bridge too far.

I''m not going to break confidences on here, but if you still can''t get your head round it I suggest you ask your good friend The Great Drinkell (how ironic) to forward you the PM I sent him last week.

Generally I find you slightly wacky but fundamentally harmless, although you do seem to see the forum as your personal fiefdom. This time your obsession is helping to screw over one of my heroes, so please feel free to patronise, dissemble and generally misdirect, but realise that there is a world beyond this message board where your noble quest is doing real damage to a City great.

What''s really sad is that you probably actually believe that, despite being the main culprit for "point avoidance" on this forum.

What''s the next tactic, multiple emoticons and clip art or maybe the sudden appearance of our friend from across the pond for another diatribe?

As someone who is so keen to lecture others about how forums are all about debate and your freedom to voice your opinions you seem strangely reluctant to accept the comments of others unless they conform to your world view. Hypocritical doesn''t really do it justice.

I actually believe that I don''t avoid any points on this forum. I am quite happy to debate and put my point of view. And I always do so honestly. I think you are either being very mischievous or you honestly think that someone who disagrees with you is actually avoiding your points.

Another thing you seem to be struggling with is this lecturing malarkey. I don''t do that, I just give my opinion whenever I want to. Which is what this forum is for. You are lecturing, because in order to avoid my points you are attacking my character.

One point you have been avoiding for the past three posts is that people are staying away from the book signing specifically because of your requirement that they join NCISA. Then you take the moral high ground and preach to me about screwing over your hero.

If you think that by trying to destroy my credibility as a poster will somehow keep you on that high ground you are very much mistaken. It has been tried before, many times, since I began posting and nobody has succeeded yet.

Try addressing the issues and accepting that other posters can have a different opinion to your own. I have to accept that people will challenge my views and I respect that as long as they willing to debate. As I have said to you a few times now Beauseant - you would be more suited to writing a blog.

I actually believe that I don''t avoid any points on this forum, and also believe in Father Christmas and the Tooth Fairy. I am quite happy to debate and put my point of view, but God help anyone who disagrees with it. And I always do so honestly. I think you are either being very mischievous or you honestly think that someone who disagrees with you is actually avoiding your points, which is, of course, what I do, but I know that by blustering I can usually obscure that fact.

Another thing you seem to be struggling with is this lecturing malarkey. I don''t do that, I just give my opinion whenever I want to, at great length and regardless of how sick to death people are of hearing the same old stuff. Which is what this forum is for, ie to give me a soapbox. You are lecturing, because you''re not saying what I want to hear or rolling over when I throw my teddies.

One point you have been avoiding for the past three posts is that people are staying away from the book signing specifically because of your requirement that they join NCISA,which is of course, totally unreasonable when Ncisa are bearing all the expenses of the evening to maximise Kevin''s takings .Then you take the moral high ground and preach to me about screwing over your hero, but just as with my vote of no confidence I refuse to accept the consequences of my action.

If you think that by trying to destroy my credibility as a poster will somehow keep you on that high ground you are very much mistaken, although of course I realise that you haven''t actually tried to do that, but this is a good time for me to play the sympathy card. It has been tried before, many times, since I began posting and nobody has succeeded yet. I am the undisputed heavyweight champion of the forum and woe betide those who dare to stand up to me.

Try addressing the issues and accepting that other posters can have a different opinion to your own, but don''t dare to think that you can disagree with mine punk, because I''m the big man around here.  I have to accept that people will challenge my views and I respect that as long as they are willing to debate, by which I mean back down once I get on my high horse. As I have said to you a few times now Beauseant - you would be more suited to writing a blog, and even though you haven''t risen to the bait it still strikes me as a funny line so I''ll use it again and again and again......

Thanks for the lecture, irrelevant to my post as it was. Or I think it was because I didn''t read it. I never read a post I have decided not to agree with. As you seem confused by what I''ve said, given that you''ve spent several paragraphs defending yourself against things I haven''t accused you of , I know you addressed those paragraphs to other posters too, but I''m so far up my own arris I only saw my name. Because my opinion is so important and I''m so patronising I''ll spell it out for you so that everyone can see what a smartarse I am. I think ex City players from less well paid times should be given as much opportunity to improve their income as possible. And my new found concern for ex players happily coincides with increasing NCISA membership. Do you agree? Alternatively you may well feel that such people just have to lose out if it means you getting the chip off your shoulder, because that would be a bridge too far. I know best about what everyone thinks you know. Nobody could possibly think that the £5 could be used to cover costs with the excess going to the ex players fund. They think what I want them to think and even if they didn''t they it woulkd be beneath me to debate it. I''m not going to break confidences on here, but I''ll have you know I''m so important that I exchange PM''s with other posters and if you still can''t get your head round it I suggest you ask your good friend The Great Drinkell (how ironic) to forward you the PM I sent him last week. Because he now knows how important I am.

Generally I find you slightly wacky but fundamentally harmless, although you do seem to see the forum as your personal fiefdom. I think anybody who doesn''t agree with me is a cretin really but I like to appear conciliatory for my image. This time your obsession is helping to screw over one of my heroes, so please feel free to patronise, dissemble and generally misdirect, but realise that there is a world beyond this message board where your noble quest is doing real damage to a City great. I thought I''d make that last bit up but reading it back I''m really impressed with myself.

Don''t -  I - just - love - me!

(From Beauseants pile of patronising and pompous posts)
