Barclay Kid 0 Posted April 27, 2010 Couldn''t see anything on this already. Always good to see a new contract signed. Lets hope we see more of him next season. [Y]http://www.canaries.co.uk/page/NewsDetails/0,,10355~2036942,00.html
Woman in the Stands (WITS) 0 Posted April 27, 2010 Good news indeed. Always encouraging to see the youngsters the club have nutured make it into the first team.Somehow I feel he is one to watch as he has potential. Another player whom I feel would benefit from a loan spell, as C Martin and Spillane did, with regular first team play next season.
Canary_on_the Trent 0 Posted April 27, 2010 A lot of fans forget that he''s an age group below Korey Smith who has excelled this season, it will be tough for him to break into the side next season though, especially at a higher level so i''d look into getting him out on loan, the lad has great potential once his body has filled out. Ivana_rubyatitz 6 Posted April 27, 2010 Agreed it is good news as he has the potential to save us a few quid in the future, but he would benefit from a six month loan to League 1 or 2 next season to show what he can do
Yorkshire Canary 118 Posted April 27, 2010 Bright future, but it will be a big 2 years for him and he will find it much harder to impose himself on the championship than league 1. Too early to say for me, didnt really impress at all when i saw him. Sounds a bit harsh but really good youngsters seize their chances and look something special eg Cory Smith now and Sutton, Bellamy and eadie in years gone by. AndyCanary 0 Posted April 27, 2010 What impressed me most about Adeyemi was to hear that he''s an A grade student... Very refreshing in todays world of footballers.

hogesar 10,949 Posted April 27, 2010 Good news, especially when he has apparently been in two minds about doing degree courses and becoming a doctor! Something like that anyway [:D]
nutty nigel 7,963 Posted April 27, 2010 Huge feather in the cap for everyone at FONCY and all who support them.I think Tom Adeyemi is going to go on to be a great player. Wouldn''t it be great to have him and Korey Smith in the same midfield at the top of the Championship[Y]

The rest of your post I agree with totally, if Adeyemi was that good he''d be doing what Korey Smith has done this season! Adeyemis looked out of his depth when hes played for us and isn''t hard enough, too much of a stroller! That said I hope he gets good enough although I hate all this "hes young so hes going to be good in the future" rubbish cause as we''ve seen with the Jarvis bros and Henderson not that long back, that isn''t always the case! Mister Chops 11 Posted April 28, 2010 Excellent news, I think he could be a very valuable player for City. A better passer than Korey Smith with as good a work rate.

[/quote]It''s very difficult judging youngsters as they develop at different speeds and have different strengths/weaknesses.Adeyemi is almost a year younger than Korey Smith, whats to say had we not won promotion that Adeyemi wouldn''t have established himself as a first teamer in League 1next season at the age of 19. I think it''s clear Adeyemi just needs to bulk up and fill out which he will at only 18, his game seems much about athleticism in the centre of the park but because he''s not fully developed yet he simply can''t stamp his authority on a game at senior level.
