AJ 1,359 Posted March 20, 2009 Source?and didn''t we know he was in the 16 anyway?
TheCardinal 0 Posted March 20, 2009 So I assume...Marshy, Semi, Bertand, Shack, Doc, Croft, Carney (on left), Lappin (in middle), Clingan, Gow, MooneySo that''s four of our loanees gone already (not including Gow as he''s international). If Lee is on the bench, that must mean Leijer is being dropped, which leaves us worryingly short at the back.
bringbackchippy 53 Posted March 20, 2009 shut up aj, if your gona be pissy then jog on
Matt Morriss 69 Posted March 20, 2009 Why bother posting rubbish like this BBC?As you and everyone well knows the teams are never picked nor announced until about 2pm every match day. Gunny may have an idea but i doubt very much that he and the team will not pick the squad until at least 2moro morning. Chances are Lappin may be in the team. I think Gunn will go with Gow in midfield and Lee up front, and maybe Drury and Bertrand, or Bertrand and Carney. So in response to your ''post'', no Lappin is not back. Matt Morriss 69 Posted March 20, 2009
ok we''ll see barclay
ha hano, we wont see because its 50/50 isnt it? So if Lappin is in the team does that prove that you are right? No, it proves that youve been paying attention in that its gonna be Pattison or Lappin, or someone else. The headlines all week have stated there could be a recall for either one, obviously with Rusty and Wes out.
bringbackchippy 53 Posted March 20, 2009 ha ha l love it, bye
Matt Morriss 69 Posted March 20, 2009 Further to that i really dont think its gonna be Pattison as i think he is well out of favour, hence the loan headline. So yes it could well be Lappin, but there''s no way in hell its been confirmed or that you know it to be fact.
missing in action? 0 Posted March 20, 2009 after all. what if either got injured in the warm up?you just dont know.
Captain Holt 580 Posted March 20, 2009 In fairness, BBC has posted news on the team before and everyone doubted him but he was right. I can''t remember the game but it was earlier on in the season.

ca 1 Posted March 20, 2009 If bring back chippy says thats the team tomorrow thats what it will be, he hasn''t got much of his news wrong yet and he announced the Gunn/Crook/Butters well before it was announced officially.Glad that Lappin is involved again, hope he has a good game.
Shack Attack 0 Posted March 20, 2009 I hope he is back then we can all see why he was frozen out in the first place. The way some people go on you would think Lappin had been cloned from the DNA of Maradona, Pele and Cruyff rather than the very average foootballer he is.Re. Fritzl. I know we shouldn''t laugh at something so terrible but when his lawyer was asked about the significance of the blue folder he said it was because Fritzl was ''embarrassed''. Now call me old fashioned but ''embarrassed'' is what you are if the wife comes home and catches you knocking one out over some dubious pornography. For what he did I don''t really think ''embarrassed'' goes quite far enough.

My, wasn''t he a naughty boy, but didn''t we all enjoy his little speeches with that folder over his face. What a cad..." He''s probably hired Max Clifford already and will be gracing the pages of Heat and OK! within weeks: "Brave Josef Battles Prison Bullying!"Maybe he could even contract a terminal disease and find complete redemption on the pages of the glossy mags and tabloids and have himself an obituary... whilst still alive? Syteanric 1 Posted March 20, 2009 i''d be pleased to see Lappin bck... hopefully he can produce a thunder bolt of a free kick like he did at Luton....jas :)
Binky 0 Posted March 20, 2009
i''d be pleased to see Lappin back... hopefully he can produce a thunder bolt of a free kick like he did at Luton....jas :)
I for one will be delighted. I won''t expect miracles but will look to see crosses and corners into the box. Must admit it does seem now or never for Lappin - but will Gunn really start him and risk him playing an entire game (after so long without match practice) without a substitute ready at half time? That could be Carmey but I also fancy Carney to start. Maybe Drury looks good for half a game - so he may be earmarked for a half time appearance with Bertrand moving up to take on Lappin''s position if need be. But Lappin could play inside alongside Clingan - he played centre back in that reserve match v Arsenal I think!I wonder whether the great man Crooky sees something in Lappin''s play that he likes....
