Matt Morriss 69 Posted February 8, 2009 Thought they were both simply awful yesterday. Looked like a couple of youth players finding there feet in the first team.Contributed nothing and our attacking impetus completely died once those 2 came on.Would have liked to have seen Carney come on for Hoolahan and Cort stay on. Killen had about 15 minutes on field and Gow had about 7! Killen should have been brought on in the 60th minute to allow him to get into the game and Gow should''ve been brought on in about the 70th if they''re to have an impact. Matt Morriss 69 Posted February 8, 2009 FOR THE PEOPLE ON THIS POST THAT CANT ACCEPT WHAT IVE SAID. WHICH IS ESSENTIALLY JUST AN OPINION FROM YESTERDAYS GAME.GOW AND KILLEN CAME ON AND PLAYED A BLINDER AND CONTRIBUTED LOADS AND NEARLY SNATCHED US A POINT.THEY DEFINITLEY DID NOT LOOK OUT OF THERE DEPTH, FAIL TO CONTROL OR HOLD THE BALL UP, OR GIVE THE BALL AWAY, EVER. AND CONSTANTLY FOUND A YELLOW SHIRT AND KEPT UP OUR TEMPO.fuck this message board is a joke now, you cant give an opinion without people jumping on you saying your wrong.I said just after transfer deadline day that Cort was looking like he might make an impact and i got shot down and basically called blind by certain posters. Now what. Cort was superb yesterday and v Wolves.

Hannibal 0 Posted February 8, 2009 This is quite possibly the stupidest post i''ve seen on here for a while. They had 8 mins and 15 mins each what were you expecting? both to score two wonder goals and snatch victory? only Croft, Clingan and Cort played well yesterday! why not write a structured and articulte arguement how the whole team under performed in the first half? were was the marking for the first goal? or even ask the question why can''t Marshall kick properly! but no you want to talk about how two new players who have had less than a week with the club failed to change a game when we were down to 10 men in a total of 23 mins between them. Then when people argue you get angry and swear. take a step back and think about what your saying and hopefully you will see there are far more important things to worry about from yesterday, like how is Andy D''Urso allowed to go unpunished for the worst performance from a ref i have seen in years! Mister Chops 7 Posted February 8, 2009 Gow was on the pitch for about 5 minutes, Killen for 15 or so. How you think you can judge how good they may or may not be in that time is laughable.
Yellowbeagle 0 Posted February 8, 2009 This is crazy getting on players backs before they have had even a chance to show us what they can do. Thank god some fans have a little more sense if this was the common attitude we deserve to go down. If you cant give new players at least even one full match to see what they''re capable of maybe it''s time to stop going and do something else with your lives. Thats if you have anything else with that sort of attitude.
