Houston Canary 0 Posted December 17, 2008 I personally don''t think Crofty will go, you can see how much it means to him when he scores, he looked like he was going to cry - IncH_HighHMaybe he was glad because his goal was seen by everybody who might be scouting him, and he was glad it may prove to be both his ticket out and also something to create a bidding war for his sevices. I''m feeling very cynical today.
shefcanary 2,448 Posted December 17, 2008 Absolutely no mention of Sheffield United being interested in Croft up here in the local papers. HC is right - us cynical types can see its only Crofty''s agent trying to up the stakes in the contract negotiations. Like Huckerby before, Crofty should tell his agent to go forth unless he too is after the big premiership dollar!
Rum Ol Boy 0 Posted December 17, 2008 I gave up my season ticket long ago, its not a case of "spitting out my dummy" its a case of not having the piss taken out of me by the board. Why should I work long hours and give my money up to see shoddy decisions made and dreary wednesday nights playing the likes of Plymouth, Doncaster and Burnley.I had a ticket for years and saw many players come and go and each time the board come up with something to keep the fans rolling in......this time it really does smack of desperation, and I really am not surprised with some posters reactions. We have a bad manager, broke and disallusioned board and fans split down the middle.......

Huh?! 0 Posted December 18, 2008 I cannot believe you lot are talking about leaving the club behind. It is people like you that are making our club as it is. We are FAN''s not HYPOCRITS!! Carrow road is nothing like it used to be 10 years ago, we got behind our team whatever happened. Now you lot are moaning just because we are sitting above the relegation zone. Get a life! We go to Carrow Road week in week out to support NCFC, but all you lot can do is boo the players, sing silly songs about players that are no longer here, and moan to everyone possible. No wonder the players are not getting results when you make them feel like this!! Get out of the club, stop ruining it and let the true supporters do their bit for the club as a Family!! DONT REMEMBER YOUR TENURE AS ENGLAND MANAGER 0 Posted December 18, 2008 My brother and I have both regularly conversed about whether we would renew our season tickets. The last four years have been dreadful with no light appearing at the end of a very long dark tunnel. However it is just talking about how we feel. Therefore I doubt we will give up our tickets and continue our discussions on NCFC long into the distant future!!The highs are few and far between but beating the double scum (Town and Wanderers) was amazing and at least offered a little payback for the success drought we are presently enduring!! king of latvia 0 Posted December 18, 2008

If that is true, and we are willing to swap David Bell for Elliott Ward, after selling Jason Shackell who is just as good, with Lee Croft who might leave on a bosman........Then this club is not worthy of any of my time. Thats it, thats the end. That makes this forum redundant to me, and thus I will see you all when either1. Glen Roeder leaves2. The board sell up3. We show some ambition.Take care everyone.
Couple of small points before you stamp your feet and spit the dummy.Bell hasn''t gone anywhere, Shacks was a liability at times, and Croft is yet to enter contract talks and hasn''t gone either. You''ve jumped the gun slightly don''t you think?p.s will look out for your new ID over the next couple of days.
a few big points roeder said who knew nothing about clark going to huddersfield then the next day he said we are in talks with huddersfiels once again this club continues to lie.roeder has said he wont swap bell but i bet he sells him and croft.i have sent my season ticket back because im fed up with being treated as fool and lied to by this club. Fuglestad 0 Posted December 19, 2008 So some journalist in the midlands invents a vaguely plausible scenario, and you give up on the club....at least wait until things actually happen before you start whining. Also somebody accuses Roeder of lying about Clarke. Day 1 - We have had no contact with Huddersfield about Clarke, Day 2 - We are in talks. Where is the lie?
Huh?! 0 Posted December 19, 2008 None of you will change...you are moaning about the situtaion now, but as soon as we are back to winning ways and challenging for the play-offs or even the championship again then you''ll all soon come out of your sheds again and start raving about how good our team/manager/club is. I have seen it before. To be honest, its pathetic. I am still laughin at you all!!! And the best part of it all is I am not going to miss one single bit of it, never!
Yes of course, it''s the fans'' fault we''re 20th in the league. I do apologise for giving away that penalty at Reading last week.I''m sure SWIW takes full responsibility for all those bizarre team selections and tactics. Why are there so many strange people who think it''s down to the supporters? At most other clubs the support would have tailed off dramatically after more than three years of total drivel. I think people are perfectly entitled to be unhappy. Is it our fault that the manager doesn''t appear to know what he''s doing? Is it our fault that the majority of the players at the club are average at best? And is it our fault that the club apparently seem to have sod all cash to spend? No, I''m sorry, it''s not as if the fans are being impatient, we seem to be gradually getting worse every year and your solution is for everyone to stop moaning and criticising completely (this freedom of speech stuff''s a pain, isn''t it?) and everything will be alright. Whatever. And yes, a few may take it too far, I won''t argue with that but it''s precisely because the vast majority care about the club that they''re unhappy in the first place.
