Shaun Tilly Lace 0 Posted October 29, 2008 I expected to find this board awash with furious messages of discontent today after yet another inept, miserable performance last night. Instead a lot of people seem as though they have given up expecting anything else from the inadequate shower who are masquerading as the Canaries this season. What depressing times we are having to endure at Carrow Road currently. What with the major downturn in the world economy as well, there seems to be no relief from the gloom and doom at the moment. I think I might set my Sat Nav for Clifton Suspension Bridge or Beachy Head later on this evening!

I like it. It would probably be better to rely on good old fashioned maps if one was seriously considering a spectacular early departure at either of these places. gazzathegreat 0 Posted October 29, 2008 No. Polite acceptance by me, I have spouted off enough about what I consider the ills of our season this year and the last and the one before that. But never fear, November 11th will soon be upon us. Suffice to say if nothing comforting comes from that night then maybe I might get a little more uneasy. Salahuddin, I am really trying very hard to just forget the off the pitch stuff and concentrate on falling in love with all our new heroes, it''s working on a couple of them, but I still have a long way to go. Work in progress.

astrodyne 0 Posted October 29, 2008 I think you can only argue or state your point so many times - anymore and you are in danger of becoming a bore or bitter. How I see it now, if we have no money, then I don''t know how we can assemble a squad when the loan deals run out. Surely the present board will be gone before we get to that point[:O]
Hooleyfan 0 Posted October 29, 2008

I have high hopes for Bell, but as for the rest, the best aren''t ours.
What about Clingan?
People say he isn''t creative enough, but he does what none of the other central midfielders seem to be able to do with any consistency and that is to get the ball to the wngs where we only seem able to penetrate. With a bit more industry from, and/or understanding with his fellow midfielders, Hoolahan, Russell and Paterson , we could be a very different side...but there again if my Auntie had balls, she''d be my Uncle. |BA 0 Posted October 29, 2008 I''m happy. Considering the football we played under worthless and Grant (who i thought was a good appointment at the time I''ll admit).... I think we are well on course for promotion in 3 years.I''d take that.

whoareyou? 0 Posted October 29, 2008 Do I detect a resigned acceptance of the present dire state of NCFC on this forum?Yes...nothing will change till ownership and leadership of the club changes. I''m sure most of us have read Doomcaster''s ramblings on Mr Cullen''s departure...they are quite happy whilst the club is playing in front of 24,000 every other week..that is success to them. The club has no leadership at all!!! It''s a miracle we can put out 11 players in some kind of formation and field a full bench in case there''s an injury. Given where we are as a club, I''m quite glad to be able to see the team play at all. It''s not just the message boards either. The press don''t mention Roeder ever being under threat, or the boardroom difficulties. Everyone just shrugs, tuts, spits on the ground and then moves on. Tangible Fixed Assets anyone? 0 Posted October 30, 2008 It will be interesting to see how many do not renew their season tickets next spring.
WeAreYellows49 0 Posted October 30, 2008 Well my other half who pays almost £900 for both of ours says he will not renew if there is no investment in 2009 and the football doesn''t improve. He says that if things go from bad to worse the fan base will drop off again ala the 80''s 90''s and you could get a ticket on the day anyhow (which I too remember being able to do), and that we could have two long weekends away for that on top of our holiday to the USA each summer.
