Heffers Canary 0 Posted October 4, 2008 Could someone let me know actually how bad it was today? Am at work today and would normally be able to have the text commentary up but all the students are back at Kings College today (just across the road from where I work!), so it has been a bit mental! All I know is through a quick phonecall from my mum at full time that went along the lines of her yelling down the phone (after me telling her to make it quick as my manager was hovering and we are not allowed personal phonecalls on the shopfloor)..." FORFUCKSSAKELOST2-1DERBYDOWNTOTENMENLITAMISSEDLOADSOFSITTERSCLINGANSCOREDAPENALTY21STINLEAGUEBYE"Am now on my break and obviously realise it is bad result, but can someone let me know if we were just unlucky or if this is really getting serious and we were pretty piss poor! Thanks!! huckster 0 Posted October 4, 2008 It was horrendous, worse than you think...we are in serious trouble mate...too many loans that dont give a sh*t about what badge is on their shirt, all they are interested in is their pay packets and nothing else.Sibiersky very poor, croft absolute rubbish and always will be, midfield can''t win an argument, and i am not a fan of marshall either, yes he is a shot stopper (sometimes) but everything else a keeper is supposed to do he is terrible. Why moan at the board ? they don''t pick the team do they, we are in trouble big time and this season will be another struggle to stay in this league unless something on the pitch change. In my opinion these are the only decent players we have here....Ostemobor, Kennedy, Bertrand, Russell, Clingan, sometimes patterson, and not seen enough of Bell yet, Hoolahan has been a huge disapointment, WE MISS HUCKS and i don''t care what anyone say, Roeder promised new stars and new heroes.....WHERE ARE THEY THEN ?????? seat124 0 Posted October 4, 2008 Croft poor? He ran his ar*e out and gave 100% -more than you can say about sibierski (for f*cks sake stay on your feet) and Lita (£25,000 for a sh*ite days work, that will do nicely).

[/quote]Croft may have ran his heart out but as usual he delivered very little in the way of a final ball. The short time Bell was on he delivered more dangerous crosses than Croft. That was an abysmal game between 2 poor teams, after 36 years I don''t know how much more of this rubbish I can take. Things will not get any better without some money coming in, we have to many players who don''t seem to give a shite.
Heffers Canary 0 Posted October 4, 2008 Thanks guys. All in all with the day I have had, am now starting to consider whether I spend the little I earn working in retail on other things that sane, normal 23 year old girls spend their money on like bags or shoes..... the away season ticket is starting to lose the appeal it used to have back in the day!! Erik the Viking 0 Posted October 4, 2008 Nearly on a par with the QPR game last season before Grant went!, and the scary thing is its getting worse game by game in the home games at least!

ellis206 0 Posted October 5, 2008 Sammy Clingan was by far our best player today, and it was the first time I''ve properly seen him, and I must admit he has impressed me immensely! Semmy seems to stand off his man to much allowing for crosses to come in easily, Crofty was superb today and I don''t understand people saying he had a terrible game, He didn''t put a single foot wrong today! Sibierski was poor, and it was him falling over needlessly that led to Derbys second goal. David Bell seems to be able to put in a decent cross, and he finds himself space, but from what I saw today, don''t expect him to be able to take people on, I thought our defence played well today, bearing in mind it was a makeshift defence, but our first half performance was the worst I''ve seen in ages, I spent ten minutes watching some guy get kicked out off the barclay a few seats away from me, but second half we were much better and after we equalised I thought we would go on to win, but unfortunately Marshall made the error and it wasn''t to be! Heffers Canary 0 Posted October 5, 2008 just seen the Chumpionship... at least it was a well taken penalty!! I do wonder what the point is of having someone on the goal line for corners if they are then just going to watch it go past them!! Also why after Derbys winner did Marshall look like he was picking something out of his ear?!
Jules 0 Posted October 5, 2008 Just saw the goals on the Championship and am flabbergasted by the Derby winner. Drury had it well covered and there was absolutely no way he could score from there. What the hell was Marshy doing?!!! On another day we''d have got a point. But then given we were playing against 10 men even that wouldn''t have been good enough. Why oh why do we keep shooting ourselves in the foot? 5 pens, for example, against us already this season. I had great hopes when I saw us play at Cov on the opening day and I do believe we have a much better squad than last season, but it seems this team is cursed. Branston Pickle 4,151 Posted October 5, 2008 IMO it was a poor game played by two average sides yesterday, but our performance was miles ahead of the pitiful displays at QPR and Plymouth - I really can''t agree with those suggesting otherwise. For starters, we were playing a far better side than either of those two and would have got a deserved point but for a mental moment from Marshall - those games last season we were lucky not to lose by 5. bringbackterraces 0 Posted October 5, 2008 It was poor! We looked very disjointed, lack lustre and without a gameplan probably caused by having so many loan players and players out of position. This was in addition to the season long problem of being very poor in the final 3rd not direct enough! All in all if things continue like that we''ll struggle to stay up!
