Captain Holt 582 Posted October 5, 2008 I see where you''re coming from Wiz me old boyyo. He should be given another chance because he can''t do any worse than the current strikeforce. I''d like to see him get a game instead of Sibierski.Sod the target man (although Sibi is crap in the air anyway), it might get them passing it a bit more. Regime Change 0 Posted October 5, 2008 Cureton didn''t take enough of his chances when he was starting matches that''s why he was dropped in the first place.
alex_ncfc 687 Posted October 5, 2008 Sorry Wiz, but Curo is sh*te and is part of the problem at this club - the old boys network, the nicey-image, welcoming back old players just because he had a one-off season, he is now past his peak, and for a player who has only ever excelled in the lower leagues, we are getting exactly what is expected of him - he cannot handle the pressure at a bigger championship club and quite simply, isn''t good enough for us. He needs to be sold in January.

At least when Jamie is playing chances get created, by al means sell him Jamie so he can work again with a manager who picks and sticks with a settled side........plus he''ll have supporters who won''t turn on him like you.But don''t you dare start moaning when he starts scoring again elsewhere..........don''t you bloody dare![:@]
Graham Humphrey 13 Posted October 5, 2008 The fact Cureton can''t get ahead of such (ahem) ''talent'' like Sibierski, Koroma, Lupoli and Lita says everything about how good (or not) he is.

Unfortunately, we signed him based on one decent season at Colchester. He isn''t soley to blame for our inability to take our chances, but neither is he good enough to play in the Championship. That said, your right, Roeder definately has his favourites and his not picking the best team at the moment. He has nothing to lose from his bizarre ravings. He has no respect on this board and know it, his opinion are based on what he thinks will get him the most attention coupled with which side of the bed he gets out of.Anybody who has attended games this season or last for that fact will realise that Cureton is as big a part of the cancer that is eating away at this club as anything. His beloved Jamie has been living on past glories from many champagnes in lower leagues. Nobody can doubt his commitment to the club but nobody can doubt yours or mine or any of the 24000 who turn up week in week out. Doesn''t entitle us to a starting berth without question though. The people who’s commitment to this club is in doubt for me are attention seeking fools who only comment on the negative, peddle nothing but easy answers and shrink in to the background when anything does go remotely right for our luckless club.I am well ready for change at the club, man do we need it. I don''t however feel the need to bang on about it 24/7 whilst name calling, attention seeking and generally proving what a nasty old whinging fool I am. Sing Up The South Stand 0 Posted October 5, 2008 He played 3 games without scoring - so he was justifiably dropped.I can''t honestly see it makes a difference who plays, none of them are good enough. Apart from maybe Lupoli who has scored 3 goals. No one is blaming Jamie when he''s not playing Wiz, don''t know why you''re saying that. When he''s played and missed chances people have blamed him - like they''re blaming the other strikers now.
