Positives tonite

Recommended Posts

Pathetic, clueless, awful.

Had an extra man, so I''m led to believe, but I''ll be damned if I could see him.

Passing was abysmal, no urgency, and Fotheringham, well,..........

The biggest positive I can think of is that we only have to wait another 3 days untill we have a chance to make amends of tonights poor display, didn''t sound as if we were getting enough men in the box towards the end of tonights game, and when your 1-0 down at home to a side with 10 men you can''t afford to do that. Lose on saturday and the pressure is straight back on Norwich i''m afraid.

We''re doomed I tell ye, doomed, DOOMED! [:''(]

If you were at the match tonight, you wouldn''t be so smug - we ARE doomed to another season finishing in the bottom 8, based on the results so far. Still, if you''re happy with that - carry on.

Keep that going Lappin.  I am sure we are all doomed but it reminds me that one of the few upsides of journalism is getting behind the public perception and meeting wonderful people such as John  Laurie (Pte Frazer) and Arnold Ridley (Pte - my Sister - Godfrey) - Laurie made his name as a Shakesperean Actor (and is in the Olivier films) and was the only member of the cast who actually DID SERVE in the Home Guard - and he said it wasn''t much removed from the series.

Arnold was Arnold - seriously wounded in World War One - but who, before his incontinence and the cakes of his Sister, held the rank of Major in the British Expeditionary Force.

Great quote from Mr Croft: "Of course Arthur (Dunn) was Captain Mainwaring in real life.  An absolute pain in the Ars&.  Officious, overbearing, constantly moaning, forever trying to tell people what to do.  Great actor but a pain in the Ars&."

If it''s not too much trouble, keep reminding me from time to time.[:|]

Why did we expect any different, I''ve been going to CR for 36 years and have lost count of the number of times  I''ve gone to games expecting big things only to come away angry and finding it hard to believe that we could be so poor. The most worrying thing for me is the lack of passion and will to win that was on display tonight, the players didn''t look like they could be bothered to me and that is unforgivable.

Nail on the head - it was shocking.
hopefully it''ll be like after that 3-0 reverse against plymouth last year, it''ll help Roeder sort the wheat from the chaff
The only problem with that is if you do it too often you end up with dust.

In amongst a shocking performance, Kennedy and Bertrand were the only positives for me. We completely lacked invention, and that includes the manager. Why we stuck to 4-4-2 is beyond me. I think he missed a trick not going to three at the back, Bertrand wide left, and pushing Hoolahan behind the front two.

Positives - It seems referees are quite determined to cut the opposition down to 10 men [probably because they feel sorry for us] this should enable us to get at least a couple more wins this season
