blahblahblah 2 Posted September 1, 2006 a) he''s injured.b) Worthington has said he doesn''t need himc) if he''s that great why hasn''t anyone else signed him ? You can get away with this kind of nonsense in July, before we''ve kicked a ball, but it''s the 1st of September today. We''ve got a squad full of match fit players and you want to sign a 33 year old who would be more expensive than our top wage earner, and who would not be remotely match fit for another 6 weeks. SE London Canary 0 Posted September 1, 2006 here here.... what a great squad player to bring in and NOTHING! Pay as you play contract he will bite our hands of, Simple as that Happy Days.We need back ups!
Huddy 0 Posted September 1, 2006 I thought we should sigf him but now would be pointless. He is 2 months behind after doing no pre-season training and obviously has injury pronlems. I doubt he would have the fitness evels required, playing local cricket is 1 thing, pro football another.
alex_ncfc 664 Posted September 1, 2006 This is a must. Someone who can do a good job in defence as well as up front. What more could you ask for?

Temp the Revelator 0 Posted September 1, 2006 My only worry would still be why he is still unattached......don''t you think it''s a bit odd that no-one else wanted him? Maybe the club are right on this one.
