  1. Tickets will be checked - 5min walk from the station.
  2. For those of us who have to endure living in the suburbs of Wolverhampton, what a joyus day when the Cannock Staffordshire and Midland Canaries flags can be displayed with pride at the home end of the Molineux. Then afterwards following a magnificent victory, on display at the local in Chezzo, just to rub it in a little deeper. OTBC.
  3. I was informed at the weekend that Chris Sutton has had a knee operation in recent weeks and is still recovering therefore that would make him unavailable.
  4. When you live six miles from Wolverhampton and every other neighbour supports either the Baggies or Wolves start praying that they do nothing. Or like us display with pride the Midland Canaries flag the size of a bed sheet from the gable end of the house.
  5. Last week proudly displaying his soccer skills and resplendant in his full City kit, 12 year old Midland Canary, City home and away season ticket holder and goal scorer in the fans match in Malaysia, Dale Leeder was voted player of the week at the Wolverhamton Wanderers soccer school. His reward, apart from being a hero amongst all the gold and black, a shopping voucher and a signed Wolves football. Any ideas what we should do with the signed ball? Cannock
  6. Cheslyn Hay near Cannock in Staffordshire or a stones throw from the Northern most toll booths on the M6 Toll.

Severn Members of the Group are travelling to Malaysia from Birmingham Airport on the 11th July for the City Tour. So look out for the Midland Canaries and Cannock Staffs Flags. Any other info required ? Regards Andy Leeder
  8. The Midland Canaries will be well represented with 7 members of our supporters group having booked. We shall all be stopping in the Grand Plaza Park Royal in KL for the first week before flying up to Langkawi (Berjaya Beach and Spa)for a second week on the beach. Having read the article in the Preston programme, Norwich City Travel have set up a bar in KL that we shall make our own for the week. There is also a planned footie match between canary supporters and a local line up.
  9. To set the scene Paul Merson writes a column in the sports section of the local Wolves and Walsall Express and Star evening paper. Upon arrival home from work the above paper is removed from its letterbox and as you do, i turn to the back page. There i see a picture of Paul Merson with the headline. "If Robert Green can play for England so can Wacka"### what the hell is he on about! Therefore i turn to the next page to read. " If our (Walsall) James Walker had been in goal for Norwich they might already be champions by now" Can you believe it! Mr Merson may i make the point that "If our Robert Green had been in goal for Walsall they would be safe from yours and their certain relegation to the 2nd Division". More Rehab ? Don''t forget all Midlanders, The quarterly meeting of the Midland Canaries at the Wheatsheaf Junction 11 M6 (Cannock) AT 7.30PM, (Large turnout expected) Wednesday 31st March. Yes that''s tonight or tomorrow night depending on the time of posting.
  10. If that''syou CJ you should be aware that both myself and Dale travel to every game home and away. Just give me a call, the number is in the programme under Midland Canaries. Just for example we left Cannock at 4.0pm on Tuesday evening for the Gills game after Dale finished school, Were in Norwich for 7.0pm and back in Cannock at one in the morning. So you can more or less do a full days work/Uni and still get to the game on time. Mind you the next day is just a blur.
