First Wizard 0 Posted July 27, 2006 Croft will NOT sign for City.IMHO: He''s gone home to think about.............................................other offers!.But not ours.
Jack Flash 13 Posted July 27, 2006 Or perhaps he''s pondering over whether to sign for a Club with far too many negative fans! Croft appears to have exactly the right pedigree for us - he''s young, he''s a rt winger, is not too expensive, and no doubt his ability is known to Hunter via England Youth. If he signs, (If!!) than lets hope he gets 100% support as any Norwich City player should.
Canary02 0 Posted July 27, 2006 I agree Wiz.The deal is usually done after the medical. Either we''re worried he may have a problem that we want to check out before committing to the transfer or he''s playing for time for a better offer. For once, i''ll give Worthy the benefit of the doubt though, as if this goes sour I don''t think it will be for want of trying on his part. Northern Canary 0 Posted July 27, 2006 but then again, Birmingham are going for McSheffrey and Leeds already have Eddie Lewis but we have no right winger so we can guarantee more footballing opportunities.
3pmkickoff 0 Posted July 27, 2006 If you were 21 and faced with the prospect of moving to another part of the country away from your family and friends for the first time, possibly for 3 years if not longer then you too would probably want a little time to think it over

John Travolta is back 0 Posted July 27, 2006
there are no more negative posts here than at any club where a large proportion of fans want rid of the manager....
like it or not worthy will be manager this season. first people complain about the lack of signings, then when it looks like someone will be coming to fill a position which we have been lacking for years negativeposts pop up stating that he will not join. Why not wait and see what comes of it and if he chooses not then start a thread about possible reasons for this. why would croft come for a medical if he wasn''t interested? some people''s hate of the manager is doing more damage to the club than worthy himself. If we are going to stand any chance this season the fans must be united behind the club and everyone within it. Why do you think teams have a better home record than away? the pitch is the same its whats around it that counts. the way things are we may as well play all of them away. if this hate campagne continues, yes worthy will be gone so will the parachute payments leaving the new manager with little or nothing to spend, cant see what talent we have sticking around either. jetstream 0 Posted July 27, 2006 You think we''re negative on here???!!!Here''s a post from the 606 board:"The whole club is a joke. From the lying skinflint owners to the clueless yesman in charge of the team"Can you guess who he''s talking about?I''ll give you a clue, they play in blue and are managed by an ex-Canary with a broken nose and owned by a couple of porn merchants. GJD 0 Posted July 27, 2006 I don''t have a problem with negative posts in general. However some people seem incapable of seeing anything positive in the club at the moment. These are often the same people clambering for a right winger and when we try to sign one, then they turn around and say he will not come etc. Please Worthy is far from perfect, but he''s trying to find that player, so give him a break and me from this constant sniping for two minutes.Put on the "Smiths" like I did tonight. It might cheer you up, or Leonard Cohen for some light relief......
blahblahblah 2 Posted July 28, 2006 Foghorn,Parachute payments are a bit of a misnoma, as we all know Worthington hasn''t had that money available to spend. In fact, didn''t mystic megson point out that Worthington had actually spent less on transfers than he had received for selling players ?

Sing Up The South Stand 0 Posted May 22, 2008 Wiz, when you read this don''t complain... A few weeks ago someone brought back an old post of yours that backed up an argument recently and you didn''t complain, so when someone brings one of you being wrong you can''t really complain. The way you post will cause people to do it, and you have to take the rough with the smooth.
