1. Totally agreed! And don''t forget, Getting rid of Foley and bringing in Hunter!
2. I don''t think any of them will leave on his departure. And i would love to see Curbs here as a replacement but i feel if Worthington goes Hunter will step up and take his place, Atleast ''till a real replacement is found.
3. I''d agree, although i think one of his biggest mistakes and still is, is his continuleous excuses about everything. Whereas if he admitted where we went wrong and got on with it, it wouldn''t be so bad..
4.
It was also in the Telegraph & they only print transfer issues if there''s some substance to them
It was also on BBC & Sky news.. Hope we don''t sign him though. Aswell as Sutton - Too old, and not worth the wages.
5.
Then so can I. Yes, I know its only one brilliant game and one stunning performance, but I''m now dropping any anti Worthy/ Delia/ board/ bad feeling and critising from all my posts. I''m neither a WO or KTF from now on, yes chaps, last night was my road to Damacus!!. Today I''m just a dead proud ( and somewhat fickle!) City fan. City are playing like City can play, and I love it!, simply love it. Even the fans are united this morning , its magic, and its none of my doing!. Scoff if you like, all I ever wanted, was the kind of football which the lads served up for us last night. 15 more games like that and I''ll be the first one on here to grovel at Worthingtons feet!. Today is a happy day, and long may it continue. Thats why my name is more cuddly now. Last night City were reborn, just why its suddenly changed is another story, and I don''t have any answers as to just why and how thats happened.........do you?. OTBC.
For once wiz, good post :) Hopefully others will follow in your steps now. Lets keep this up! May only have been one game, but one game to the better! OTBC!.
6. Well done not only to Hunter, but to Worthington. They''ve teamed up brilliantly, and have brung back passing football to City. Lets hope this keeps up!
7.
my dad''s, friend''s, sister''s neighbour sat next to him and apparently he is coming back
I really hope that is true mate!!
8. In the game tonight, there has been a song sung for a good 5-6 minutes. anyone know the lyrics?? it always is sung out, (not OTBC..) but i never get the lyrics!
9. Went from good to worse. VERY glad there was no hoofing though. Very unlucky. On another day we could of came away from there 3 or 4 goals to the better. Bring on Tuesday! x
10.
I don''t know what it is, but what I do know is that Worthington has come out and said that he won''t be signing Sutton, so can we please drop this subject. It''s become very boring, and with only a day until kick-off, maybe we need to start thinking about the team we do have rather than the team we think we should have.
Very well said.
11. Unless i see proof of Sutton not wanting a basic wage i wont believe that. And its the end of his career. he''s 33. and it would be a waste of money in my oppinion. Glad we didn''t sign him.
12.
I am really worried this season as the number of clubs which are competeing in the championship that were broke but are now outstripping us on player purchases and wages. Coventry, Leeds, Derby, Leicester and a few others were and I think still are in far greater debt than us but are still competeing and beating us in the transfer market. How can they be doing it when we have far greater income as we still have a parachute payment as well. We must have also the smallest squad in the league as some left but have been replaced by trainees on cheap wages. The broke clubs are going to be in a much stronger squad position than last season and teams like coventry showed they have recovered and will be there or near the top for promotion. I am getting more and more concerned as to where this club is going at present and what wages we are paying the so called stars at the club because that must be where the cash from the prem went and is still going.
The clubs with far worse debt than us are not ''''beating us'''' in the transfers. Worthington knows roughly how much he''ll go on a player, and he wont stretch that budget to any price. Surely thats a postive thing? I''d rather that than him trying to beat everyone and us ending up with around 60M debt. And i''m sure i''m not alone on that one.
13. I was wondering how long before you would make a comment like that. lol
14. I wouldn''t worry about the rumour of him leaving. as for injury i spose we could always use Spillane. He could do with the experience.
