Well b back 3,605 Posted May 26 Living near Birmingham as many close away games as ever to wet the appetite. With our youngest still qualifying as under 20 our away membership ( being season ticket holders ) is £25 and £15 less 10% £36 total. So despite what Essex tells us good value if we go on a charge and suddenly the glory hunters jump on board. Anyone think if 10 of us donated our 10% discounts to the Essex fund to buy him an away membership it would shut him up ?

......and Smith must score. 1,600 Posted May 26 I'm told each Championship club will have 24 matches shown live next season. That's quite a bit of jiggery-pokery to sort out but I think all the TV dates for each club up to the end of 2024 will be released well before the season starts. At least that will really help with supporters planning.

The Supporters Panel apparently deliberated Membership schemes at its meeting in February and then notes that the detail will be minuted in the next set of Minutes due in May. We have yet to see these yet the Club implements the scheme for the new season regardless - typical of their apalling attention to detail, transparency and accountability. Any proper review of other Clubs schemes would unearth that almost no other Club charges ST holders (all 3 playoff rivals being good examples though they do have away member schemes,) let alone shareholders so the idea that it is good value is for the birds. Very pleased that your loyalty will be rewarded with first pick of games. Excellent that the club does this, a very sensible system.

The Raptor 1,573 Posted May 27 Looking forward to fixtures for a change. A shift change at work means I now get a long weekend every third week so hopefully some big away trips can be planned! I like to go somewhere for a couple of days for an away game. See the sights. That way if the football is **** it's not a total waste!
