ipswich town remains in Norwich City's shadow

Recommended Posts

And there it is. Despite the expectation from them, they yet again, as they have done virtually every important/must win game, bottled it.

Well done City, keeping that lot in our shadows. What a great weekend

The thing is Binners seem convinced that beacause they won trophies 40 years ago they are some huge household name that everybody talks about.

The reality is that as Sky themselves said they're just in our shadow. The past 30 years they've done noting. Nothing at all. All while everyone has been watching and talking about us and not them.

Theyre just a small town and we are a big city and boy does that fact hurt them.

They play Leeds and Leicester in the next two games - let’s hope we can look back on this game as being where their bubble burst.

Not really bothered about their progress from here, they are flying and will probably come to CR in a similar league position. However, hopefully by then we will be back firmly in the playoff spots and have our full team available. If so we will smash them

Not even our words, but the words of the neutral Sky commentator.

You have to wonder if they can't beat us now then when the hell can they??

Alternatively, we may have shown the rest of the division that they can be got at. By their own admission, they don't have much below their first 11 and if they get the sort of injuries we've had, they could be in freefall.

We're only 5 points shy of the play off places despite our challenges, there are plenty of past examples that show a play off place, or even a top two finish is within reach...... not saying it's going to happen, just that it's possible.....

By April, we could both be in very different positions...... can't wait.

The lower league thug Morsy has been banned for both the Leeds and Leicester games

"The captain has committed the most fouls in the Championship so far this season and has nine yellow cards to his name as a result" 10 after being booked against us. Hence the ban. And this is hilarious

"Sam Morsy revealed that he was disappointed to be booked in Ipswich Town’s 2-0 win away at Middlesbrough," Oliver Reed said he was disappointed to find himself drunk after spending all day in the pub.

He didn't get a yellow card against you and isn't banned, but hey great post otherwise.

He’s actually a very good footballer and exactly the type we’re missing. We also  nearly signed him a few years back from Wigan.

He is, we are and it's a shame we didn't.

If you do go up Luke "Wrestlemania" Wolfenden will be getting booked and conceding penalties every week through VAR.
