TheBaldOne66 723 Posted August 19, 2023 Many years ago I travelled to Bedford to watch Lowestoft play them in the first round proper, as I lived in Lowie at the time, it didn’t end well though as Bedford won convincingly! I hope it turns out better for Mulbarton!

Good to see they progressed They have 3 absolutely exceptional midfield players. Mulbarton had 3 kids in the middle of the pitch who are very promising players but they couldn't get a kick. I think Bedford are at least 1 tier above Mulbarton and it showed.

The Raptor 1,264 Posted August 20, 2023 The result should be void and the game played again as it kicked off at 2.58. Mulbarton had scored before 3pm! But yes. As others have said it showed Bedford were a couple of steps up. Their number 5 was good. They had great support as well.

When the teams walked out someone commented that the number 5 was carrying a bit of weight. Turns out that's because he rarely needs to run.
