Snodgrass wouldn't let him, he would want to do it all himself.

Probably because Idah would injure a finger or miss the laces completely šŸ¤£

I'm sure the legend Mark Fotheringham would include himself in the team?Ā šŸ˜

An Irish one would be harder to cobble together. Make it island or Ireland to make it doable and I'm not cheating by Googling;

GK: Michael McGovern

DR: Erm, Brian McGovern?

DL: Jamal Lewis

DC: Gary DohertyĀ

DC: Andy Omobamidele

CM: Mike Milligan

CM: Phil Mulryne

RM: Johnny Gavin

LM: Paul McVeigh

CAM: Wes Hoolahan

FWD: David Healy?

SUBS: Andy Townsend (probably a starter but I hate him), Anthony Pilkington, Robbie Brady, Adam Idah, Keith O'Neil

I'm sure I've missed some obvious ones and older players. Really struggled with striker.

****. I knew there was a big name I'd completely forgotten. I'm ashamed, can't even use lack of years as an excuse considering I was going when he managed us.

Davie Robb is possibly the worst centre forward ever to play for Norwich. Closely followed by Jim Blair who could have edged it purely on his ability to be offside.Ā

Robb once played for us at Middlesbrough and was given a perfect cross that it seemed must go in if he just closed his eyes and let it hit his head. He somehow contrived to head it out to the edge of the penalty area to a somewhat startled Middlesbrough player. I think it was Souness but can't be sure. I was in a state of shock.Ā

Was he the curly ginger haired guy from around 78?

After Kenny's heroics last week, it struck me just how many great Scottish players we've had down the years. I thought it'd be a bit of fun to try and put together an all-time Scottish squad; I've used my patchy knowledge of NCFC history to include some of the greats of yesteryear, although I'm sure some of our more 'experienced' fans will be able to add in some that I've missed or underestimated.

-----------------------B.Gunn------------------------
R.Martin Mackay Forbes (c) Whittaker
-------------------McLean Holt--------------------
--------Snodgrass C.Martin Foggo--------
---------------------------Fleck------------------------

Subs: A.Gunn, Lappin, Hanley, Hartford, Dorrans, Naismith, MacDougall

Manager: Lambert

Assistant manager William Punton.

no one has mentioned Ross Jack yet

Ross Jack, weighed in with some vital goals during the promotion season in the early 80s. Opened our local fete in Hockwold, nice guy signing autographs for queues of kids all day. Think he had a useful career up in Scotland after being sold.
