OTBC06 44 Posted June 20, 2023 For those going, will somebody ask why we buy players who are highly rated, then play them in the wrong positions, or not to their strengths in order to get the best out of them?

A Load of Squit 5,221 Posted June 21, 2023 I'm going to use my question to ask Zoe where she got her scarf that she's wearing in the picture in today's EDP (not sure it's a saga). These important issues must be attended to.

Soldier on 168 Posted June 24, 2023 Wonder if we get any meaningful Attanassio/takeover code updates at this forum or just the standard it’s a complex procedure line.

If the latter hopefully they can at least explain why February's statement was misleading and a little more detail on the hoops they have had or still need to jump through. The club's statement back in February may not strictly have been misleading. But it certainly gave no sense that more than four months after the vote to approve these nearly 200,000 new shares they would still not have been bought by Attanasio. And I do not believe the club's expectation back in February was that there would be such a delay.

Faded Jaded Semi Plastic SOB 1,040 Posted June 24, 2023 (edited) In homage to the lad sat astride one of the lion statues outside City Hall in 1982 as Norwich City fans celebrated promotion back to Division 1 there is only one question..............."Are we going to beat Ipswich?" Without insight into the advice received from their legal advisers, or feedback previously received from the Takeover Panel, it is impossible to say with certainty if it was misleading. Personally, as I’ve said before, it seemed at the time to effectively be a done deal, given the two week time period mentioned in the papers circulated for the meeting.
