Personally, Would've had him over Smith any day of the week,

We are not Everton and Chelsea we're unique.

Would've got players like Cantwell and Gilmour ticking,

Rather than one getting drowned, and the other missing.

Lampard is a truly  woeful manager. But it is 100% true that Webber flew to Dubai to offer him the job, he turned us down and we then confirmed Smith… lauding him as our first choice (rather than a panic buy!)

I would definitely have gone for Robins.. as I said at the time.
