Carrow Road Shop / Ticket Office

Recommended Posts

According to a response from the Club, the Carrow Road shop provides ticketing services 7 days a week.

Not sure that everyone was aware of this. I wasn't.

The words used are 'for in-person ticketing transactions'.

Presumably they can access the ticket system from the club shop. Not an ‘out there’ assumption, surely?  It’s amazing what you can do with tech these days….

Don’t think so, I thought it was only open on match days

If so, Supporter Relations are telling me porkies.

Transactions presumably includes printing a ticket you have already purchased online? Click and collect if you like.

Really nothing to see here.

Have you considered finding out the truth before you call people liars?

Quite so. The club shop is open every day as far as I know. It’s hardly newsworthy that they might have access to the club’s ticketing system, but on matchdays they get rather busy doing other things.

I went in 3 months ago for ticketing purposes. The staff have been trained to sell tickets and that's it. Anything more complicated and they have no idea. Not their fault, they haven't been trained to do anything else.

Quite the leap to transfer that to the remaining, open, club shop then.

I think , as Dylan has said club shop has always sold tickets but limited to just simple transactions.

So basically I guess when I spent 30 minutes on the phone on Monday to buy a Huddersfield match and coach ticket I could have simply popped into Carrow Road when convenient on Tuesday morning. Probably those in the Queue re season tickets had no other option.

The real light bulb moment for the £3 million a year senior management team would be to get the staff trained to provide the same functionality as the previous Ticket Office staff.

So its the clubs fault you didn't know you could buy coach / match tickets from the club shop?

Should have guessed your post was about you /  your experience and ànother stick to beat the club with  rather than trying tying t ge helpful.

Maybe they are employed as retail assistants and not ticket office staff.

Its like a chef being off ill and saying  the waiting staff should be able to do the cooking!

Alternatively you could have done it in minutes online thus avoiding any need to wait or complain.

Essex is unaware of himself. Or at least  appears to be.

What's the Essex equivalent of Tunbridge Wells?

Definitely Saffron Walden. He's got to be from Saffron Walden.

This time he owes a public apology to the club and it's staff.

Being an idiot isn't an excuse.

Not following you at all. Supporter Relations told me it is open 7 days a week. I never doubted it. I was merely making a point to someone who suggested it was open match days only.

Not your fault then!

You are aware that club shop is different to the ticket office?
