Electoral Reform

Recommended Posts

Agreed in essence - we did have the AV referendum, but that and FPTP is basically the equivalent of deciding if you want AIDS or the Ebola virus.... both are dreadful.

Just spin London off as an independent nation state (with a wall around it) and England will be fine, the Scots would even start to like us again.

Lineker can then become an activist for Republic of London immigration laws can't he, which will be none of our concern, we can offer free shuttle buses from Dover to London for recent arrivals, seeing as that's where most of them want to be anyway, and none of this would have been an issue.

I'd quite like the 'Guy Fawkes Reforms'.

The last person to step into the Houses of Parliament with good intentions was Guy Fawkes

Although HIV(AIDS) can be effectively managed nowadays, not sure if Ebola can .

Can anyone move this to non football please.

I think Gary Lineker has led the way as far as mixing politics and football is concerned, so run with it. 🙂

Incidentally, if Norwich elects a Green MP and a Lib Dem MP, it'd be yellow and green on the map, with a yellow bird as one of the symbols, which would give the city a cool Norwich city FC theme on the election results programme. Both parties subscribe to the cross-party https://www.makevotesmatter.org.uk/  electoral reform campaign as well.

Now the thread is football-related. 🙂

Is this  what the site will be like without mods? The thread about Lineker should have been moved to non footie after page 4 .

It could be exactly like it was before which is similar to now.

Regardless of likelihood it's true. Hell, any true Norwich fan would want to move heaven and Earth to make this happen now they realise the opportunity available; it's not like the Conservatives and Labour have much to offer anyway.

Edit: Incidentally, at a council level there's some progress on this; there's just some dodgy red to get rid of, which is ruining the effect. In fact, potentially it could be reminiscent of the 1993 kit.

So we want free speech for BBC presenters, but censorship for pinkun posters?

They should make me mod, let’s face it.

I’d make this place hilarious.

The one Green controlled council in the UK has ended up with rubbish piled on the streets on several occasions, ironically.

A bit  OT but ,The Irish green party are deluded bunch of moneyed idealists who think joe soap earning € 600 a week take home can afford an electric car on top of Rent at 12-1600 a month. Buy an EBike!! Only costs twice what a ten year old Corolla cost . FFS!! ....commute for an hour and a half on an EBike.....in the  pi55ing irish rain.  ...great idea.
