No. We should be beating teams like Reading. We would have beaten a team like Reading if the referee hadn't decided he wouldn't allow it to happen. 3

We should be beating teams like Reading at home, but making such declarations is the sort of thing that they'll stick up in their dressing room and give them an extra 10% motivation. There were at least 2, maybe 3 challenges from Reading players in their penalty area worse than Dowell's challenge. The fact he blew for half time 15-20 seconds before added time was up because we had a corner in the 1st half is all you need to know about "Mr" Webb.

And Reading are not great. This team, even with 2 or 3 added players( who will be unproven and possibly from abroad ),would be blown away in the premier league. Nexus_Canary 1,254 Posted December 30, 2022 We looked far better tonight than we have in weeks. We had the game won if it hadnt been for the ref. Smith would have lost that 2-0

That was poor. Did we sit back on purpose though? I though we completely ran out of legs around 70 mins. Our fitness levels have drastically reduced under Smith, but hopefully they will start improving. Edited December 31, 2022 by astro
