Meeky 0 Posted March 3, 2006 All Protestors - please keep to the following during the short march and protest. All chants should be about Worthington and aimed at the board. Barry Skipper chants welcome. No negatives about our players. Keep it peaceful. It is a family day. Be friendly. Co-operate with the authorities - we have been liasing with them. They are there for our safety. Do not be confrontational. Have some songs and chanting in support for our players and the team! This will do no harm. Show we are Norwich fans with a heart and passion. At 2pm we should all meet on the pavement just after the Friendship Bridge (just before the Swimming Pool) on the left hand side pavement as your approach the ground. This way we do not block the Swimming Pools car park, which is in constant use. From there we slowly move to Carrow Road. The aim is to head towards the main entrance of the football club at Carrow Road where previous protests have been held. To keep the Police happy, we should remain on the pavement at the back - allowing other fans to pass. Please refrain from swearing - as it is a family day. The press will pick up on this, more so Barry Skipper. Remember the press will be there in force, also TV and Radio. Smile for them. Be vocal. Be colourful. Be happy. Syteanric 1 Posted March 3, 2006 excellent stuff meeky.. see ya there mate!jas :)
EddieYellow 0 Posted March 3, 2006 I will second that Meeky. One query though. If, as you say, the police want us to remain on the pavement in carrow road, it will be difficult for say 1000 people to cram onto the pavement outside the directors entrance. Hope this does not cause a problem between protestors and the police.
The Voice of the Thorpe Area 0 Posted March 3, 2006 Well said and a good idea.If we cooperate with the police and safety terms etc, then there can be no phrases such as ''hooligans'' or ''not real supportes'' from the board and Worthless. If there''s a fair few of us, hopefully the board will start taking us seriously. Can I also suggest a boycott of ''On the ball city'' before the game, maybe just to hammer the point home. Let''s make ourselves heard and noticed.

nobbyg 0 Posted March 3, 2006 No chants about the players!! This really has turned into a one man witch hunt. Surely you are not telling me it is 100% his fault. Or don''t you want to upset the players - because moaning about their boss outside their window will be ok will it? - especially BEFORE a game. Try saying mmmmotivation without saying "We want Worthy Out"Perhaps if the players would have performed closer to their potential then we wouldn''t be in this mess. Surely you can throw in a few anti Hughes chants, or "what a waste of money chants" to Etuhu or "it used to all be your fault but we''ve moved on to someone else now and you seem to get away scot free" to Craig Fleming. AJ 1,359 Posted March 3, 2006 no, not against the playerswe are loyal fans, we support the players its only the manager we have a problem with look at Jarrett for example, here rubbish, goes to plymouth and is outstanding!

Yes it is VERY unfortunate that worthy seems to be the last person in the ground to see that a player is out of form (Fleming earlier in the season), past it (Holt last season) or just not good enough (Andy Hughes)
DuncanMirams 0 Posted March 3, 2006 if the players really like worthy and want to save him from possibly facing the sack they should play well for once and put on a good performance, however i dont believe this will happen as worthy has clearly lost the dressing room''s support all of whom are waiting for him to leave just like us. According to worthy malky and Iwan were not up to the job anymore.Well many fans think worthy is not up to the job anymore....... Nigel earns more in a couple of weeks than most who attend the stadium..... There is nothing to cry about here.

[:$][:@][/quote] We have put all our energy into getting behind the team, just as we still do, but after all the backing you give a club, you expect results, and that clearly has not happened, so before you start questioning ''so called city fans'' think what your saying. Yes NCFC might be a family club, but it is also a professional club, with highly paid players and a highly payed MANAGER, who, believe it or not are payed to do a job, and sadly they are not, but the players seem fine when on loan at other clubs, sort of points to one man really
