Branston Pickle 3,696 Posted August 22, 2021 (edited) Nice are currently playing Marseilles (on BT), the match has been suspended - things being thrown onto the pitch throughout by their ‘ultras’, one Marseilles player (Payet) got hit by a water bottle, he turned round and threw it back into the crowd and it all kicked off, players taken from the field. cornish sam 966 Posted August 22, 2021 I remember years ago going to see nimes Vs Montpellier (whilst cantona was at nimes, got to be honest though, didn't notice until he signed for Leeds the next season) and that ended in a 28 man brawl on the pitch, the fans didn't really get involved though.... Gloriously honourable mention to the Serbia / Albania match which got abandoned simply as someone thought it was a smart idea to send a drone over the ground in Belgrade. Although, it did have a flag of a Greater Albania including Kosovo on it. Which probably would anger the Serbs, to be fair!
