Certainly a high calibre of applicant, would certainly fit with the ethos to develop our own talent and focus on youth, he's also had a few jobs over the years at sheff utd and watford so would certainly have a lot of experience and contacts. Only reservation I could think of is that he's never had a role other than in youth development (as far as I know) but he wouldn't be alone in identifying more senior targets if was to come in. Sounds like an announcement might not be far away of the shortlist is down to 2 (from 5 several weeks ago)

I keep seeing the Finnish striker Joel Pohjanpalo being linked (although it's mostly on the usual clickbait websites). I think even the commentators on Sunday mentioned him as an interest. He has a decent goal scoring record at pretty much every club he's been at, currently playing in serie B with venezia and scored 19 goals for them last season. Transfermarkt currently value him at £3.5 million.

This comes across as very childish. He didn't even start this thread and it is a forum so I'm expecting to see some rumours (reliable or otherwise). I'm pretty sick of having to navigate all the silly sniping and bickering that seems to appear on every thread. I found it by logging onto steam and then going to the community section and then workshop..there are loads of databases, facepacks etc and didn't take long at all to download. If you Google madscientist fm then you'll find the guy who created it. It's great fun and so far robert chase hasn't made me sell all our best players.

Completely obsessed with Championship manager/Football manager..have been since the mid 90s. Went off it a bit after fm12 as the match engine really irritated me but fm22 was a real return to form and I love it. Have most recently won the bundesliga with freiburg then moved onto Roma where I won 6 titles in a row, cup 3 times and champions league 4x in 5 seasons. Have just discovered a 92/93 database for fm22 that is amazing so I've started a game with city..just signed Freddy Rincon and might see if I can persuade Carlos valderamma and Jan molby to join 😁

Sheffield has 2 universities, a teaching hospital, prime location including being on the border of the Peak District, a rich musical heritage (including the legendary Leadmill that is still very popular amongst touring musicians), some of the best pubs that you could ever come across, 2 big football clubs, it's own large music festival and genuinely nice people. Lots to like about it, unlike your posts. If you don't like it why are you creating posts about it? Also your username is dreadful.

The one Donny fan I knows thought he was great and the numbers back that up. He won't be on much of a wage and is only 20, not sure why we would let him go permanently at this point. Also expressed a determination to impress our current manager when talking in March
