Majority on here seem happy so don’t worry about it.

Like who?

Not seen any happiness on here for weeks.

The more we have to sell the more we buy.

We freshened up the squad but didn't spend much,, but 2 big sales means at least one decent player coming in.

Not football affected by Coronavirus with no one attending but the transfer policy in general even if the gems depart. (We had a modest wager on it remember 😉)

Bear with me Nutty, it’s a while back with any penalty going to a good cause of yours.

Meanwhile I don't think the majority are happy if the gems depart. I think the vast majority would be unhappy.

Who did you have in mind?

Everyone seems to be missing the fundamental point here...... it’s about the team, without a stable group we have a problem.    Half the squad from last season weren’t good enough, so needed replacing and we seemed to have addressed that.    If our jewels go, that’s pretty much most of last seasons first team gone.   Replacing them is one thing but it’s still a new team and new players still have to get used to the system, used to each other.   Whilst we will have plenty of money, this will put the project back three years.   We are highly unlikely to be competing for promotion.

Have a read on here, some are very philosophical and thought it was good we signed players prior to possible departures. Of course it was good but serious money will have to be spent if certain players do indeed go.

I haven't seen any happy ones buddy.

If they're the majority you must be able to name me one?

Leeds have been after Michael Cuisance for a while and reportedly that's now a done deal. However various sources suggests they are also in advanced talks with Cantwell.

Trying to find our wager, all in good time.

That does assume that the rest of the division isn't in utter chaos - so far pre-season promotion favorites Derby and Forest and Cardiff have shown nothing .... if you said three months not three years I'd agree.

The only one I remember was about relegation based in the teams we finished above.

We didn't finish above any so nothing was due.

That rings a bell but I thought I’d bet how many would leave too, if I’m wrong I apologise.

If they all go then we'd have:

Krul

Byram

Hanley

Gibson

Xavi

Skipp

McClean

Onel

Stiepermann

PP

Pukki

Not all that bad. Obviously Mumba is going to have to step up for the time being but let's see what happens the next couple of weeks...

Sounds like a fair summary. Once they want to go there is no point stopping them as the attitude won't be right anyway. The whole thing becomes like a game of domino's then we need to start again. Despite the parachute money we loose vital time to get together the quality and coordination we need. Who runs the project in future if Webber goes? Just another pointer to the fact that the set up involving Directors and the Executive needs to be stronger and the risks better identified to get any reasonable run of seasons in the Premier League.

£20 fixed on how many players would leave by the end of the transfer window. Struck last year I believe.

No recollection of that. If it was last year was it the January window? But then I don't remember that either.

How do you propose to work that?
