A Load of Squit

New Tory Leader

Those voters that bought the anti-establishment schtick that the Vote Leave cabal offered should have hopefully woken up to what a crock it actually was. This is the establishment circling the wagons. The press, the police and the politicians. The same pigs that have been at the same trough for ever are worried. Good.

Looks like the Pistols become more relevant by the day

Yes as we have said before, Hunt would seem to be the most obvious choice of new broom, but it’s hard to see him getting sufficient support. If it was a party not in government then maybe some unknown would emerge as leader but I can’t see that happening when in power.

I think they are totally screwed.

If you recall The populist leave luddites and ne'er do wells that have now brought this calamity upon themselves (nobody else did it!) hounded out all the rational, moral, honorable one nation Tories that wouldn't sign up to Johnson's obvious lies when they came to power. Gauke, Soubry, Grieve, Stewart and many others. I guess they didn't think to read the small print doing a deal with the devil.

Simply they sold their souls. Too late for them to complain now. The Scottish Tories are also about to branch away too to avoid the final implosion. A new centre right party will have to form from the ashes - perhaps led by Gina Miller 😉

How prescient.

Johnson’s former editor at the Telegraph, Max Hastings, once wrote that if Johnson, a man he believed “would not recognise truth if confronted by it in an identity parade” became prime minister, it would demonstrate that Britain was no longer “a serious country”.

Apparently Starmer has already developed developed a vaccine.

But, but he had a drink with an MP during a genuine work meeting. Clearly as bad as taking a suitcase to Coop.😲🤣

This is worst piece of trivial whataboutery I've seen for along time. It really is best ignored as wholly misleading.

It's targeted at the dwindling 20% or so who still try to excuse Johnson and to bolster their lack of any critical thinking. The purveyors of this tripe know their target audience well.

Luckily most of us can see the truth and the sham that is Johnson and by extension his whole government for what they are. That includes many previous Conservative voters who don't like being taken for fools.

The hard left needs to focus their attention on getting this fascistic government out of power. Attack Starmer et al once Johnson etc have gone. They are by far biggest threat we face.

Hermann. those acustomed to be taken in by the political party operatives hanging on strings will have to slap themselves on the head with a wooden mallet, wood on wood, before they realise that we are being played to tne nine pins. The biggest thread we fave is people like Nuland and Truss who would love to start a war to save the Ukrainian Fascists from themselves.

There will be no elections if a war breaks out, just more Government by edict from all those who got us where we are now.

I am not the hard left, I'm the hard pro decentralised local Government bloke. Screw party politics!

An interesting thread. Focus groups have been asked a few questions. A few from Bolton North East which may be of interest to @TheGunnShow

Not sure Bolton North-East is quite a "red wall" seat. Only had that impression as David Crausby held it for 22 years, but some very mixed parts of town there. If they were first time Tory voters, I'd wager they were in areas like Crompton ward, Oldham's Estate, or Breightmet as fair chunks of northern Bolton are quite well-to-do.

Indeed great fun to instruct your supporters to attack the Capitol building or to instruct your supporters to not wear masks and not take a vaccine, and even to inject themselves with bleach.

Excellent retort by SKS on Ferrari show to send back to where they belong these Tories trying to deflect the opprobrium they and they alone face.

"There comes a point where the Tories try to take everyone into the gutter with them."

It really does sum up this government and it's loathsome apologists.

They send out Zahawi virtually every time a new scandal emerges. He is calm and doesn't get drawn and is quite happy to keep churning out the mantra. And of course a member of his family died of Covid so its not easy for the interviewers to hammer him.

But you wonder what is really going on in Cabinet. Johnson is pretending to isolate because a member of his family has it when of course he doesn't have to. So that shows the pirck has no bottle whatsoever. If he has the temerity to avoid PMQs then surely it has to be now they get rid of him. He doesn't want to govern at all. He just wants to hife.

And Cummings strikes his next blow, he really hates him.

In his latest blog ( I have yet to see it just been on news ) you will remember Boris claimed he did not have a clue it was a boozy party in May. Cummings ( his main advisor at the time ) found out about this ‘ booze party ‘ and confronted Boris about how this party was wrong and against rules. Allegedly they had a stand up row in front of others.

So it seems even his apology was a lie, not only did he know what type of party it was, his advisor insisted he cancelled it, but he refused to. Assuming Cummings has evidence this also means despite what he says he has lied to parliament again, not only knowing this was a ‘ booze party ‘, but in part organising it. In fact his latest tweet.
