alex_ncfc 622 Posted June 28, 2020 So we go into the next game against Arsenal away as the favourites because we actually put in a bit of effort yesterday unlike the previous two, actually winnable games vs Southampton and Everton?

shaunieboy77 71 Posted June 28, 2020 The league hasn't been turned on its head because of yesterday though. If we beat Arsenal and the others lose then there is definitely hope.
crab man 120 Posted June 28, 2020 Wish I had this guys optimism. 4-0 Arsenal. Aubameyang is going to have a field day with our makeshift defence.
shefcanary 1,881 Posted June 28, 2020 Yep, Aubameyang was desperate to get on today so will have plenty to say Wednesday teatime, also the liability that is Luiz out injured that should also make them more confident, and the Blunts didn't exactly work them hard. Signs are all there for another hard working but in the end thankless task for our boys. Especially as we start without any genuine centre backs (Godfrey still just a converted DM'er in my view). Game on indeed.

Game on indeed. Godfrey is both a converted DM and a genuine centre back. He's played there for us for two years, and played there for England U21s. He's a centre back, and will continue to be a centre back.

We ain't favourites against any team because our team only puts in effort half dozen times per year.
