Good evening Pup''s before deciding on my picks I just needed to see the result from tonight, with Newcastle winning this means Brighton need to win to clinch the title,

Every team have something to play for so "our six" for this week are;

Brighton V Bristol City Home win 8/13

Fulham V Brentford Home win 8/15

Carlisle V Newport 6/5 (my pick)

Livingston V Peterhead Home win 8/13

Monaco v Toulouse Home win 1/4

Fleetwood V Port Vale Home win 7/10

Now it''s fingers cross and let hope for a little bit of lady luck on our side.

Thank you all for the suggestions

Sorry I''m so late, I''ve been offered a great deal on a car with a number plate ending in ''RVW''.  Any advice anyone?
Anyway good luck to TGD and Cosmic Twin and everyone else.
My picks are two draws between Inter & Napoli (11/5) and 3-3 in our game with Leeds (50/1).
We really need Pinto and Howson to score in the second half!
Pinto was close I heard Cosmic but well done for getting something back.
Fulham look to have been our bogey side for Drinks picks. Carlisle and Livingstone both won and Monaco look to be on their way to a win. 5/6 this week would I think result in a free bet.
The top two in both our leagues have both already recorded wins this week.

You''ve selected some cracking draws this season Wooster. Good luck with Inter v Napoli this evening.

Thanks Nutty.
On my pad were also Southampton vs Hull and Torino vs Sampdoria, so I think that means it won''t be a draw tonight.  I doubt if all 3 will be right, but here''s hoping.

I know we don''t do sorry''s on this thread and with a pick rate of around 55% I suppose 3 from 6 was a likely out come,

Gutted that Fulham took the lead and then missed a penalty - why didn''t they do that a few weeks ago? Brighton, probably think they have done the job (which I suppose they have) so have taken their foot off the gas.

Great to have a chance to pick the final 6 and thanks to all you pup;s for your selections.

No we don''t do sorrys and you have no need for them anyway Drinks. You did as well as we did. No selection with more than one endorsement won. Of the 38 of us who picked 18 selected a winning team (47%) and there were 18 good picks from the 31 given (58%). We don''t win on weeks with stats this poor. You at least selected a winner and once again it was the most profitable pick of the weekend. I look forward to your turn next season buddy.
With two weeks to go Cosmic remains top of our PUPs league with Diesel Doris and Parma just one winner behind. Here''s that table showing those with at least 50% correct from at least half the available weeks : -

I had a plan which has gone wrong so I need a willing volunteer to do the Norwich picks for the QPR game. [:)]

Did baldy boy recently post wishing to join?

I was lucky enough to do the Norwich pick the other week, as an introduction so would suggest baldyboy, if I may, if he wishes to.

I took a lot of time and trouble replying to Baldyboy on the thread where he showed interest. He didn''t get back to me. Maybe you could PM him about it Greavsy.

He can read these posts so I''m sure he will get in touch if interested.

Personally I enjoyed my Norwich picks, which added to the match experience just sorry I didn''t add to the pot.

I would thoroughly recommend taking part, but will leave baldyboy or anyone else to throw their name in.

Baldy used to take part so it''s a bit of a rum un really. And there''s been many threads each season inviting posters to take part. What made you suddenly decide to take part after so many years ignoring it Greavsy? Maybe that would help me recruit new people to keep me in PUPanons good books.

That will be because I received an email from you, inviting me to do the Norwich pick. I could ask what prompted you to do that ''out of the blue''?

I''m leaving you to it Nigel, before this turns again, I can see you sowing the seeds, and where you want to take this. Again.
