Whilst I can understand a few comments on here, he is certainly experienced and has good leadership qualities - however, AN has already said we need to start replacing some of the older legs and with Barton being 34, is he good enough to warrant replacing younger players in Howson, Thompson, Dorrans, Tettey, Mulumbu?

Guff! Even at 34 Joey Barton is still twice the player Tettey, Dorrans, and Mulumbu are or ever will be. Infact he is exactly the type of player we are missing, a tough tackling midfielder, with a nasty side, who can actually pass a ball. But of course he is also a ''thug''. And we can''t have that at Norwich City. We are a family club after all.....
