hogesar 9,766 Posted November 10, 2016 Norwich fans current logic:1) We''re not playing with any passion!!2) Sign a thug3) Let thug be all thuggy and cause unrest4) Don''t get promoted5) Blame AN / Moxey / Board for signing said thug.
Mickdundee 0 Posted November 10, 2016 Ha, they''re all doing a good job of not getting us promoted as it isBarton wouldn''t make any difference to that
Highland Canary 76 Posted November 10, 2016 How did Barton perform in Burnley''s promotion to the PL? I wonder if he might have been instrumental as their player of the season?

Chemical Bro 0 Posted November 10, 2016 Typical of norwich fans saying no to this signing. Forever the soft touch football club
norfolkngood 1,092 Posted November 10, 2016 if we had a strong experienced manager then maybe but with AN no chance he struggles with the dressing room as it is and can not handle Lafferty who is a saint compared to Barton

Keith Scott 245 Posted November 10, 2016 Would be an excellent signing. Exactly the type of player we need. Not surprised by the senseless comments from the pinkun'' NFN''s.

AJ 1,232 Posted November 11, 2016 Whilst I can understand a few comments on here, he is certainly experienced and has good leadership qualities - however, AN has already said we need to start replacing some of the older legs and with Barton being 34, is he good enough to warrant replacing younger players in Howson, Thompson, Dorrans, Tettey, Mulumbu? I think not.

Keith Scott 245 Posted November 11, 2016 Guff! Even at 34 Joey Barton is still twice the player Tettey, Dorrans, and Mulumbu are or ever will be. Infact he is exactly the type of player we are missing, a tough tackling midfielder, with a nasty side, who can actually pass a ball. But of course he is also a ''thug''. And we can''t have that at Norwich City. We are a family club after all.....
wcorkcanary 4,349 Posted November 11, 2016 Good idea.....let Joey loose on Prince of Wales rd and Tombland. Family Cub after all.....
Tetteys Jig 830 Posted November 11, 2016 on playing ability alone, I''d have him in a flash atm. perfect replacement for Gary O''Neil. sadly the surrounding circus is not worth the gamble atm.
