  1. Well done the fans. It was the right choice!
  2. Hull win. We shouldn't need any favours from that lot. We should easily get the required points out of Swansea and Birmingham. If not we should rightly stay in the Championship.
  3. It's a shame these games aren't all played at the same time. TV is ruining the drama. WBA aren't there yet. It's Wednesday's play-off final - I can see them beating the Baggies. By the time Ipswich kick-off auto promotion will be unlikely and they will have one eye on a semi final against. In that case I expect Hull to beat them. In a way I hope it comes down to the last game. I want us in the play-offs in battle mode.
  4. One of the loudest if not the loudest goal celebrations at Carrow Rd ever. I was in the Upper Barclay and had a great view of that ball somehow getting over the line. Goreham totally losing his **** and pandemonium in the Snake Pit. What a day.
  5. If we can't get the requisite points against Swansea and Birmingham then we don't deserve the play-offs. I'm happy it's in our own hands, we don't need help from elsewhere.
  6. This might well be Knapper's trading model coming into fruition. Barden out on loan, does well and we get a few quid. I agree with others in that Reyes' pathway to the first team could well be clearer than Barden's, or anyone else, but he needs some competition and we need a safeguard on case of injuries.
  7. Enjoy. Hopefully we'll have one more home game on May 12th!
  8. The outcome of auto promotion could well be influenced by TV schedulling. If Leeds win Friday night that puts huge pressure on Ipswich.
  9. Great win for Hull. By the time they kick off against the scum we should have beaten Swansea. If we don't I can see Hull beating Ipswich.
  10. That's a weakened Coventry team to be fair. They'll need to dig deep for this one...
  11. It's great news for Dan. An interesting one though as we'll have Barden, Long and Reyes fighting for a place on the bench, assuming Gunn is still here.
  12. Hull's GD is hopeless though and +8 in our favour. If they lose tonight it would be even worse. A draw keeps them in it but only just.
  13. I can't imagine many will move out of the Lower Barclay as they stand anyway, plus if you (sit) with other people you're hardly likely to get seats together elsewhere in the ground. It seems a bit of a pointless exercise really but we shall see.
  14. I agree. Our best chance of winning the play-offs is if Ipswich are in them. Defeat for Hull would mean they are pretty much out of it and would be wet lettuces against Ipswich.
  15. It remains unclear if 5th or 6th is better. We'll have more idea after the weekend when one of the top 2 will probably have been sorted. You'd fancy Leeds now for 2nd as Southampton will probably rest players for the final game of the season and/or be pulling out of challenges.
  16. It will be interesting to see how we approach this game. Will we go all out for the win, or will it be a more pragmatic Wagnerlike approach? We conceded quite a few chanced against Bristol and it's just as well Gunn was to the rescue. Can see this being a nervy 1-0 or 2-1 to us, but I also fear another twist in this bonkers league, and you never know with Norwich!
  17. Yeah I think we missed our opportunity to get 5th. WBA will do all they can to retain it. A play-off semi against the Binners more likely now.
  18. I wouldn't bet on that. Idah is 10 times better than that waste of space SVH
  19. Well if NCFC strive to be a mid table Chump club we'll probably end up in League One. I'm happy with being yo yo club to be honest.
  20. Leeds away to QPR on Friday. If they win that it really piles the pressure on Leicester and Ipswich. You'd fancy Binners to be 3rd now and our best chance of reaching Wembley is if we're 6th. Twists and turns to come yet. It's be a bonkers season in all competitions. We just need to look after ourselves, and a bit better than we did against Bristol.
  21. Bloody close but Sarge's arm might be playing him on. Sainz might just be level by why on earth did he not be a good foot behind Sarge? On a VAR day we may well have been disappointed by both decisions.
  22. Wow at the split second the pass was hit he's clearly onside. The lines are pointless if they are not at the precise split second when there was contact with the ball.
