  1. Who will win. Interesting article here, but I suppose lots of people out there have systems to predict who wins. https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2024/apr/26/allan-lichtman-prediction-presidential-election
  2. Hope he manages to stay in touch with the game and glad to have seen him play.
  3. https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2024/apr/26/liz-truss-book-first-week-sales-bestseller-list 70th Place. Well done. Can't wait for the travel series "A Tory in Amsterdam"
  4. I'd say he believes in getting power plus public control over private resources is a step better then full private control.
  5. Europe is still trying to bulid ideals while it's foundation crumbles as the rest of the world wakes up more. Defence spending certaintly sounds good, but the will to use it is needed.
  6. You have to imagine it's part of every organisation now how to twist bad press.
  7. Just catching up. With what seemed to be the Greens about to break up with the SNP the later decides to get in first and ditch the Greens. Instantly a vote of no confidence is tabled and the Greens must be pissed because they've said they will vote against the SNP. Wow. Meaning they have 64 votes to 63 with this article pointing out the vote hinces therefore on a single MSP. The bat **** mental Alba MSP Ash Regan. Alex Salmond(Alba leader) said Mr Yousaf had made Ms Regan the "most powerful MSP in the Scottish Parliament". https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-scotland-politics-68901088 https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-scotland-politics-68895400 Sunak watches. Just a wee aside - PR in action.
  8. Scottish Greens leave Goverment Coalition meaning SNP now have a minority(not by much) goverment. Greens Co-Leader Patrick Harvey an odious person previously said he'd quit if this happened. All is not lost as it's likely the Greens will support the SNP on a policy by policy basis and prevent the others from bringing the SNP down. Legacy of them in Goverment. Heavily involved in scrapping peak train fares in Scotland. Or at least for half the year so far.
  9. So June is the time to go then

  14. This feels like the match thread. Bristol have always had amazing ones as well
  15. I was just coming on to post about this. I've only just heard the TV show is out so not had a chance to watch it, but I caught the original stage show at the Fringe. It is amazing! 10/10 being a full on reflective tale of being stalked(as a man). How this translates from a one man show in the round with special effects to a tv show I don't know. I also read it includes part of his other stage show Monkey see monky do which he touched on in Baby Reindeer. Both where smash hits and award winners at the Fringe when it was there. Must watch.
  16. Peter Murrell re-arrested in SNP investigation and charged with embezzlement https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-68850088
  17. Fallout. It's ok and the vault stuff is best, but overall pretty much formula. Kind of made be pine for the next season of Severance. I can't think why.
