1. Think you will find it is to do with contractual arrangements and has to be worn so many times per season. There are not many teams that wear yellow in the championship this year.
 2.

You say are defence is no good. Put I doubt there''s many better right backs in the league than Pinto, Olsson is the best left back in the division. Didn''t WBA want Klose & didn''t Boro want Bennett.
Pinto might be a wing back but he is not a defender. I am not convinced by Olsson as a defender. Even Klose makes mistakes and Bennett is erratic at best and no good at all unless he plays alongside a better player. Bassong gifts too many chances. Norwich City are missing that Watson-Bruce, Mackay-Fleming or Linighan-Butterscotch partnership at the back.
Lol this post just shows you are simply a wind up merchant or you did not see Klose, Olsson and Pinto on Tuesday. Mixed with Martin and then Tetty in front of them which one would not get into any other championship defence ?
 3.
Some of us remember another Scottish Canary Manager who won a lot and play swosh buckling football That is the benchmark and Neil is falling well short
Was that the guy that destroyed Villa and Blackburn and knew it was all about to go wrong here so ran away ? Think Culverhouse was really the brains
 4. Maybe we should have spent the 10''s of millions Villa spent and still be a complete shambles.
 5.

I''m with Ricardo and Chemical Bro, I think 5 goals conceded in 2 games justifies Ruddy coming back in, though McGovern''s good saves have not gone unnoticed - I just like Ruddy''s presence that touch more.
How many of those goals with McGovern in goal were down to him? Can''t think of one. The goal conceded at Blackburn was a soft one where Ruddy could have done better - and we did win yesterday. With a goal keeper, I would only change if the present incumbent was making too many mistakes.
But how many would not have gone in as Ruddy would have commanded his area. AN left Rudd in 3 games to long last year so wont make that mistake again I hope
 6. Bennett has been awful all season but as he is not one of our scape goats he gets away with it. Had Bassong defended like Bennett has this season he would have been ripped apart. Need Ruddy back in goal then we wont need to worry about crosses where we are conceding on a regular basis
 7.
Count them crickets boys! They are all on FIFA tonight!
Bet they are making Norwich lose on there Buh so they have something to talk about
 8. You are right Lessingham of course but lets hope not for a long while. Every time they return might bump this thread.
 9. No idea why ? Thought people would want to talk about our lofty league position ?
 10.
Crumbly concrete steps, crush barriers, middle pen, toilet rolls, cushions on wooden seats, little blue invalid cars parading round the ground, toilets with no roof, swilling with pi55, burgers kept warm in water, ice and snow on the terraces, London clubs invading the Barclay, 13,000 crowds, the Mustard pot, the corner bit between the Barclay and South Stand, amateur referees, waiting outside for the gates to open, girls screaming when opposition attacked, scarf tied around the wrist. Ah, those were the days.
Love it lol
 11.
i agree we look disjointed one big mistake was buying Pritchard instead of McCormack AN i have blamed many times he is not experienced at building teams But i do know he tried to buy strikers the players were scouted the Recruitment did their jobs AN did his job and decided which ones to have But the Board did not have the money now i don''t know if they had the money and didn''t want to spend it or they have no money but i do know for fact everyone including AN did try and sign strikers etc we could of signed McCormack for 9 mil but had to shift people first
Are you saying that we made offers and negotiated with players but had no money ? Cant see how that works
 12.
I didn''t need paragraphs Ernie (although they would have helped) Still, read it first time and agree with everything you have said. Get your tin hat on though, bit too much sense in that post for many of the ''head in the sand'' types on here........
Get down the bookies and win yourself some easy money. You can get massive prices on anyone other than us Brighton and Newcastle. If this team would have last year drawn any championship team in the FA cup you would have expected them to win I would have thought ?
 13. Lots on here wont know what you are talking about Bor as they have never been to FCR
 14. Harry Kane worst player to ever wear a Norwich shirt ?
 15.
The usual apologists are conspicuous by their absence indicated by their lack of posts supporting the club. Are they all on holiday. One or two still raise their heads above the parapet. Maybe the transfer debacle has made them become realists if so that is welcoming. Eddie posts claptrap that we really made efforts to sign Rhodes. Where''s the evidence we made any moves to sign JR. Don''t you remember the alleged pursuit of Afobe or McCormack for fees in the region of £10m the money has never materialised. Pritchard and Canos was financed by Redmond money. However the fictitious £10-12m has not come to light if we have it to spend on the class striker we badly needed last season and to create a promotion push this we need concrete evidence this is the case not phantom bids. Most of you will be surprised that I believe the club tells us lies and fails to communicate with us to change my mind. Clappers feel free to try to change my mind.
Would love to meet up with you and change from a happy clapper to a happy slapper. Why dont you concentrate on giving abuse to your own board after they sold Murphy and bought Best ? Not long ago you were telling us we would be selling Klose, Brady, Ruddy, Howson, Ollson and pinto. O and to balance things up you also told us Redmond would be sold - well done for getting one right. Our squad is better than when we beat Newcastle who have downgraded most of their players so your problem is ?
 16. That with such negative fans players do not want to join our club, and those that do after facing lots of abuse want out ?
 17.
I concur and would also get shot of Neil and replace with Paul Lambert
Is this the Lambert that destroyed Villa and Blackburn ?
 18. lol Lambert stabbed Culverhouse in the back, Culverhouse left his side. Since then Lambert smashed records to become Villa''s worst manager and completed the destruction of the once mighty Blackburn. Without Culverhouse it is likely he would have failed here. If Lambert returns I suspect our squad will break up in January.
 19.
Oh dear we are in a mess really , how many of our squad really are happy to be fighting to go up again. AN should have made certain anybody who wanted to leave left over the summer, get best possible deal and move on! As I suspected we have too many in the squad who are not thrilled at another year in the Championship!
What a load of negative tosh. AN did have a well publicised chat and Klose committed to us. Suggest you ask him how he feels
 20.
So we had done our transfer business early and TDD was more about trying to shift players out. So the rumour we were after Rhodes was BS. Apparently Oliviera was an expensive signing! The club is not for sale and thus he sees little chance of investment because any investor would want a controlling interest in the club. Did that happen at Palace or Swansea? Without investment there seems little point in chasing the Prem because once we''re there we''re going to come straight back down again because we don''t have the means to compete. I seriously think we are headed for a period of decline and will become a mid table championship team at best. Until the board changes I can''t see us competing with even the top teams in the Champs. I really hope I''m wrong but after the transfer window and hearing Moxey I can''t help feel totally underwhelmed.
Really - you think our squad is not good enough for auto promotion ? Unlike others we have managed to keep our top players. Newcastle aside most of our players would be automatic choices in other Championship teams. Villa have spent tens of millions on players that are nowhere near as good as players we have retained.
 21.
The Manager & the players quickly need to regain a confident, positive and confident attitude and a winning mentality. Might be difficult because most of our players have tasted relegation from the PL at least once and several have experienced it twice. Very hard to push yourself to get into the PL again when you know deep down that if you do then (a) you''re probably not good enough for it or (b) you won''t be wanted at NCFC.Our current position seems about right. We''ve had one good performance, albeit against probably the worst team in the league, 3 average efforts and a complete no show.As things stand we could go either way, up the league or down it.Taking all that into account I think our most likely finishing position will be between 7th & 12th.
You and others on here should get yourselves to the bookies. You can if you shop around get as good as 8/1 on Norwich finishing outside the top 8. The bookmakers also only consider 3 teams to be battling it out, us Newcastle and Brighton. But lets not let the facts get in the way - most of our bench would get into Championship teams that finish in the play offs
 22. See your recruitment policy is going well guys Murphy for Leon Best 100 % a downgrade
 23.
Newcastle / Aston villa are signing Goalscorers we are trying to get someone who has played 3 times yet to score ( sinclair ) Olive who has all Magic in his boots who has scored 30 goals in 173 games in some weak leagues And good old Jerome who has proved he can score in this league which is a bonus but just had a terrible season Now nobody can say what these Strikers will do this season but history proves they have not 20 + goals a season players that was in the past what they will they do this season ?
lol if you are that confident Villa are that good and actually signed better players than us I would point you towards the bookmakers who have us 100/30 second favourites behind Newcastle to win the league ( VILLA ARE 16/1 ) and to get promoted Norwich are evens with VILLA at 4 /1. They have no balance and signed forwards for the sake of it. Doubt wether McCormack after a couple more weeks will be nothing other than a bench warmer.
 24.
To be fair no one wanted Olsson or Brady
Your info came from where exactly ?? I understood they agreed to stand by the club unless offers came in at ridiculous levels.
