No passion and very little skill today. Awful.
-
Nothing positive can be taken from today. Players were awful. None of them deserve any praise and did not play for the shirt or fans. Disgraceful. They looked tired. Championship players struggling to keep it going. Need to upgrade in so many positions. Still not over and still in our hands but today''s result makes it much tougher.
-
You are right about the championship players but we are not down yet. Still everything to play for and we will get a surprise win outa the last four.

Players were awful today. None deserve any praise and none are playing for the shirt.

What hurts the most
LostTheFaith replied to Waveney Canary's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Most of our players are not PL and that is a bigger problem! We need to spend every penny on upgrading players and, if the right person is available , the manager. Change players is the priority. I do not want to be stuck with a caretaker manager and very few of the names on here would be an upgrade. -
What a load of waffle.

Take a risk & sack him. Now.
LostTheFaith replied to YellowNets1901's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Or, do not take a risk and stick. It''s too late. We have more chance of staying up by sticking. -
Sack him or get the revolver loaded, McNally

You would call me an inner but also an outer. The players are just as much to blame so I would out a lot of them. It''s very easy to blame it all on one person and think changing them fixes everything, it would not, and it would make very little difference. It''s a Risk keeping him and a risk changing him so let''s make sure that when/if we do it''s the right decision. I would change the manager only if there is someone better to bring, there obviously is not because it would have been done. And if I see Malkeys name on here again I will scream, he is not an upgrade. He will be sacked one day. It looks more likely after today''s match but whatever way it goes it''s a risk. After finishing in a great position last year many on here still called for him to be sacked and just emphasises the extremist no representative view many have on here. -

IMO right players wrong manager
LostTheFaith replied to NCFC for life 1993-'s topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
I do not usually bite but...... Our squad IS NOT mid table! The sum of its parts is not as good as Southampton and Newcastle . We are where we should be. It''s supporters who have unrealistic expectations that are the morons. -
Jose Mourinho or, a close second, Christopher Hughton

The price of "consistency"?
LostTheFaith replied to Dubai Mark's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
I have to disagree. You pay a lot of money for players with guaranteed consistency . You need a lot of luck when you spend what we call lots of Money. Every other match we have 3 or 4 players who show their lack of consistancy and mainly away . As has been said before we need to buy 5 or more better players and hope a couple of them are consistant ! -

It''s all about expectation. We have a poor squad in relation to many in the PL. You pay a lot of money for players that can do it week on week out. At Carrow road the players can do it. Away they struggle. It''s not about blaming the players. We may have the best squad ever but it is full of, for want of a better word, cheap players who simply are not capable at this level of consistency required to be anything but a bottom 8 side in a battle to the end to stay up. -

So I am a troll because my view of things is different from yours . No debate the ? The outers have lost but fortunately that means that the majority of supporters and NCFC have won. The only thing that matters for a team with our limited resource , for. PL team, is staying up. That means weak on weak Carrow road will be full to the brim. The only thing that matters is the PL table and we are sitting ok. The majority of supporters are realists and are not represented here, not even by me. -

No, the manager and team will save us. Our home form is fantastic which shows what we can do . Get in some proper PL players and things will look so much better enact year. We should spend every penny on players and wages. Changing manager is secondary and only if someone with some real pedigree is available and wants to come here. -
More or less where we should expect to be. We are a poor PL team amongst a bunch or poor PL teams. Win next week as expected and all will be well again. Have to spend every penny we can in the summer on better players.
-
Yes I do trust him and the club to get in the right players. I do not count the winter transfer window as it''s only really for filling gaps with loan players. We have to ship out players we are not using and some that we are. We need to bring in about eight new players to upgrade our squad. Look how long it has taken Liverpool to finally start to compete for the top spot. We have to have patience and look to the long term .
-
That was a. It rubbish today but must be said that Swansea were very good. We still have enough to stay up but what to do in the summer? Of course most on here will want change at the top but that''s assuming all the failures are down to one person, and that is not the case. We may have one of our best ever squads but it is still very week in depth and flair. We need to spend every penny we can on upgrading so many players including Hoolahan and Bassong. Our problems this year are down to many things but a big part of it is that our players are, it many cases, not up to the PL and simply cannot show any consistency . OTBC

Attributes of the present manager

By not calling for the managers head on a block and giving him the season to show what he is about. Holding your nerve while being nervous ! It takes balls !
