  1. Gutted. Never really given a chance here. Wonder how much of his wage we''ll still be paying this season?
  2. Chill Han Solo. I didn''t say exactly where I was on the scale. But Lakey''s previous calls to arms have included RvW coming good and the possibility of a top six finish. I''m all for optimism, provided we also draw a good bucket full of realism from the same well.
  3. On a sliding scale Lakey, I''m somewhere between you and pete.
  4. I do like the look of this Narcissus lad. But maybe not as much as he likes the look of himself.
  5. Agree with Branston. Let''s see how many he scores next season before you all get carried away. Even Ricky managed a few in Holland.
  6. Klose, a no brainer. The best player and the most authoritative.
  7. Surely most of us would be happy with sixteen years of mediocrity followed by a Chinese take over?
  8. Would rather have Chicken Licken over Foxy Moxey.
  9. I''m with Spartacus, think we''ll be pleasantly surprised. I don''t think he''d have picked an unfit Wilshere over, say, someone like Noble or Drinkwater who was in form and had had a good season. I think he''ll have a style of football in mind and will pick the right players to fit it, unlike Hodgson. I really don''t think he''ll be any worse than the other bozos who''ve tried.
  10. That''s the whole point essjayess - we don''t need three very decent keepers on the books do we? Two will do, and an old banger for a back up. If we were looking to raise a bit of cash for other areas of the team, Ruddy going is the obvious choice. He has been a great servant, but it feels right to me that he now moves on to a fresh challenge.
  11. I could see Rudd going to Man U. They''d have two de Geas then..
  12. If this happens I can see Ruddy leaving, as he must be on a decent wage, and he''d be a good back up for a Prem team, Rudd as number 2 and an old banger as third choice.
  13. Respect indeed. But if he carries on like that his wallet will be empty...
  14. Prefer someone younger, quicker and cheaper. With some sell on value. The striking equivalent of Canos.
  15. He knows how to organise a team and get it to play to its strengths, as we know to our cost last season. I would be in favour.
  16. ... some better quality trolling. Very poor standard fayre on here atm. Where''s Waveney when you need them?
  17. Oh for an edit button. I could go back and change my score. Portugal have been pants all tournament.
  18. I''d rather RvW was up top on his own as a false 9.
