People are getting a little carried away with Idah. A good talent, but suggesting songs and the like are a way off yet. If Srbeny is to be off then I would expect the incoming player to be higher in the pecking order than Idah. He can then play 3rd fiddle or go out on loan.

I see even Daniel Levy has come out and said they would like Aarons now, saying about £30 million would be what would be required. Levy is quite a shrewd operator, so wonder whether their interest may turn his head or not. Latest developments on skysports and teamtalk.

I think most people thought Roberts was an exciting signing, including myself. Unfortunately sometimes these things just don't work out. If Drmic is able to stay fit, I think he'll prove a good player for us. Obviously Webber & Co don't have the luxury of time any more and any new additions need to be able to contribute straight away unlike previous seasons.

He should save his pantwetting for Canary call and just have a good rant on there. A lot of the bigger clubs looking at the next wave of British talent, so don't be surprised to see the likes of Cantwell, Arrans, Godfrey and Lewis mentioned a lot by the papers in the next two windows.

I think that's the point most of us are making. He would smash our wage cap I would imagine.

Completely uninterested in the cup personally. But a positive result with some fringe players would be an added plus and to increase confidence in the team cant be a bad thing.

Dont worry, as i was politely informed of this further back in the thread.

I think they were saying that he's now apart of their first team XI and hasnt been left out in the cold. Plus they're doing better than usual this season and would want to keep him. Never say never. I would prefer alternative option now we're in the prem and should be looking at better improved options

I think the main point still remains if Pukki were to get injured suspended or just plain knackered, we dont really have a proven goal scoring back up, which is suicidal at this level.

Ive seen that rumour about Wanyama. I wonder whether we could get anywhere near his desired wage demands. Not sure about the Samatta rumour and whether he would want to play second fiddle to Pukki and I dont think he could play behind Pukki as a number 10. Perhaps we're getting rid of Srbeny and getting in someone who could compete for Pukki's place with Idah playing back up to them both?

I doubt we'll see Louis Thompson in a Norwich shirt again IMO. Failed to make much of an impression at Shrewsbury.

Dont like him as a set piece taker, think he's poor in all honesty. Most freekicks and corners dont seem to come to much. As others have stated he is unplayable on his day and can only get better.

Cant see Farke moving him from his preferred position.

Thats why Liverpool are looking at him for a potential swoop in the summer.

Surely Roberts was just 4th choice and wasnt pushing the existing starters/bench enough. Glad he is gone and hopefully we can add a better quality player to our ranks as his loan replacement. Hopefully some early business in this window - I will be disappointed if not.

We have just progressed a bit sooner than expected. The plan will always be to be a steady premiership outfit.

Even though we are routed to the bottom of the league, i think this is the strongest senior management team we could hope for.

Think its fair to say a few of our younger especially English players are on the radar of some of the bigger clubs. That being Aarons, Godfrey & Cantwell. Probably to a lesser degree Lewis. I think we'd probably accept anywhere close to £20-25m for any of those players in reality, with add ons knowing they are going to go on to possibly play international football. I cant see us selling any in January, as we just don't have the back up personnel, but come the summer, no doubt we'll see 1-2 of our younger players leave.
